Why do people say bigotry is natural?

Civil Unions are not the same as legal marriage and not every state even allows Civil Unions for gays.

Who are "you guys"? I see no "active oppression" of homosexuals. You conflate opposition to gay marriage with oppression. That is ridiculous. Do you also call restrictions against incestuous marriages, harems, and young girls oppression as well? No - everyone does not have the "right" to marry, and to say that is not "active oppression."

I was speaking of a feedback loop between militant LGBT organizations and their selective outrage against (mostly white) evangelical Christians. Indeed, if it was really about "civil rights," why are these gay groups so rarely seen outside mosques and synagogues or churches in black neighborhoods? What is up with that?

Far fewer.

Everything you've posted has been assumption or stuff you pulled out of some orifice that I cannot discern. I just did a Google search for "fired for being gay" and another for "fired for not supporting gay marriage."

I encourage you to do the same. It will, perhaps, illuminate a situation you clearly have no grasp of.
