What's the difference between superior and inferior complexes? By inferiority complex, my understanding is that deep down they feel inferior and so on the outside they have this bravado that pretends to be better than everyone else.

 

Those afflicted with a superior complex exude a sense of superiority that makes up for their shortcomings and failures.

People with an inferiority complex can never be confident with themselves. They always feel inadequate (when their really not).
