Its nothing new, but showing more and more! Modern Australia is a nation of migrants, from all 4 corners of our globe. How come there are growing numbers of people denying others a fair go (war refugees eg.), incl. our (himself foreign) PM? What is happening in our so called fair dinkum society? I am really wondering why some people hate foreigners, hate people with different skin colour, hate people with different believes, hate same sex couples, hate hate hate..... Where is this all coming from? Does it only come back to poor education? Is it only a result of racist parents and their little world approach? Or does it come back to R.Murdoch Press with their moral and ethical subvalues? Can it be explained by our daily dose of brain washing? It makes me so sick, and admittingly there are times I want to leave this forum, as even here the parochialism shows too often.... Come on, are we really that different to others? I think we aren't.... So, why do you hate foreigners? Any thoughts please... Regards
I think the main reason for any society to be aggravated with foreigners might be because they feel job opportunities for themselves will become less. Can't think of another reason
Can't respond because I truly don't "hate, hate,hate" anyone. If you're an a$$, a moron or a liberal, and have not done anything to me as a personal afront, I have no reason to hate you. Even then, I'll just consider that you're an a$$, moron or liberal, and move on with my life. I reserve HATE for something like okra.
They are an easy target. If a politician wants votes all they have to do is attack some minority group and they will get votes. Foreigners are a good choice. They usually cannot vote nor do they have many supporters who can vote.
You have got yourself all confused catter, nobody hates foreigners. Just because we don't want some of them coming here does not mean we hate them. There are a whole lot of reasons for not wanting some of them coming here and hate is not one of them.
