So, the topic of the Russia/Ukraine war came up in a conversation today. And you know how all the news outlets say that Putin's advisers are hiding the truth from him? And that he's completely shut out of reality? Well, why doesn't Putin tune in to CNN or something? These stations broadcast internationally and are watched by everyone across the world. There's no excuse for ignorants.
He does not need to, he has Fox, Newsmaxx, and OANN to keep him company. After all, with Tucker Carlson, Hannity, and Laura, among all the others, they have pretty much blamed Biden for Russia's invasion, think the US/NATO are the agressors, and that there must be evidence of US biolabs in Ukraine. Tucker is the worst, but they all do it.
Watching CNN is worse than being ignorant. If you don't watch the news you will be uninformed, if you do watch the news you will be misinformed.
Western media is just the other side of the deceptive propaganda. He wont learn anything useful there either (and neither will we). If he cant trust his own intelligence services to accurately inform him of the situation in Ukraine (as it seems he can't), then he's SOL. But dont be fooled- there is zero incentive for the corporations that run our news to tell us whats actually going on.
