Hello, I'm EternallyUnsatisfied (for good reason). I'm here to analyze other people's ideas and disseminate my own. Shall we begin? I believe in meritocracy. The best should succeed. Why? Because they're capable. They deserve to win. They should not be held back; they need to be fully unleashed. Which brings me to my next point: equal opportunity for all. This is irrespective of socioeconomic status. A wealthy but intellectually weak person should not succeed any more than a middle-class but brilliant person. It is all based on intelligence. However, what I have described happens too often in America (if you don't live in the US, it probably happens in your country too), hence my username. The changes I wish to bring about will likely never happen without major, earth-shattering reform. I wish you all well.
Well personally I believe everyone has an equal right and chance for success. On paper anyway. Some do have the advantage of finances or knowing the right people but I don't begrudge them that. Anyway welcome to PF. I don't get to visit as often as I would like to but this has been a home for me for the past six years. I hope you come to enjoy as much as I have.
Welcome! Dissatisfaction is the spur to success. Pick some active threads and tell us how to shatter the earth and achieve real reform. Good luck.
