Why I think Christine Ford is lying

Has anybody else noticed that with everything she swears is true, she makes sure that there are no witnesses to any of it? For instance, the encounter at the supermarket with Mark Judge, she says she went in a different door than her mother, so no one can corroborate it, Mom wasn't there. She left the house where this supposedly occurred without telling a soul. Doesn't remember who drove her home, SO THERE CAN BE NO CORROBORATION. I think a lot of her "memory lapses" are so no one can contradict her.

The supermarket story jumped out at me because if she was SO MORTIFIED about this, would she have approached him to say hello?

Early in her testimony, I head her say Kavanaugh was the only one who got on top of her; then later she says "one of them was on top of me." So which is it?

The story about how she couldn't fly (too traumatized), when she actually flies all the time, and was forced to admit it, to me, establishes her as a liar. Have to give her credit for being a convincing one.

And then there's the time element. Apparently, there was no repressed memory, she claims she remembered this incident all along, so why not bring it up when Kavanaugh was in law school? Or when he first became a judge? Why the urgency when he was nominated for the supreme court? I wish they would have point blank asked her about her political activism.

 

She made herself a target to RW loons for the rest of her life...for nothing?

Everything could have been solved anytime in the past 36 years, including July of this year, if she actually went to the police so they could perform the investigation she claims she desperately wants.....

Turned out she had to admit she flies EVERYWHERE. That alone established her as a liar.

 

Kavanaugh is VASTLY more compelling and truthful; I get very little shade from this guy.

Ford, however, strikes me as bizarre, possibly suffering from serious mental illness, and also evasive and downright dishonest.

And I hate both parties with a passion.

I don't believe her because she is a Democrat.

Democrats will say anything that they believe will advance their agenda like Harry Reid and Romney taxes.

Democrat heroes hang out with people like Harvey Weinstein Even though they know he is a total piece of ship.

Are you saying that Ford's whole claim is actually just a hit job on Republicans and/or maybe Trump in particular?

 

I'm saying that as a life long Democrat she has no credibility when it comes to things like sexual assault. If she cared about things like sexual assault she wouldn't be a Democrat.

Do you deny that democrats use tax payer money to bribe the victims of sexual assault committed by their members into silence?

If you really cared about women being sexually assaulted how could you support democrats who use tax dollars to bribe women into silence?

 

If I suppose it's not a hit job, I believe she is traumatized by some event. She just doesn't know who or what. Her husband who was in therapy with her in 2012 brought up Brett's name and it was like "oh", and then they pieced together the story(as seen through the various contradictions.)

It was never meant to be cross-examined(hence why she basically told Feinstein to do nothing with it.). After this debacle, she's probably hoping to slink away, never to be heard. Honestly, at first I wanted her sued into oblivion but I think her humiliation suffices.

 

Well it isn't likely that sexual harassers will pick places with lots of witnesses. Most women who are sexually assaulted tell no one out of shame. People have memory lapses from events from decades ago all the time. And who says that a messed up victim would never go up to the boy and say hi for some crazy reason? And people with a fear of flying do sometimes fly when they are forced to. She may not have brought it up before because he wasn't as much a public figure on tv all the time and the Me Too movement didn't exist.

You see if she admitted where, then she would have to answer specific questions as to the layout of the house, etc. The way she did this she couldn’t be trapped by giving erroneous info.

 

I thought she was lying because her lips were moving. But seriously, she loves going to Tahiti, Hawaii, and Europe by plane, though she could not attend earlier this week because of her fear of flying. Two of her friends had to help her get on the plane. Those flights take hours and there are no stops along the way to Europe or Hawaii.

 

Same person who lied about flying though, and wasn't even informed by her team about their offer to fly to HER. There's nothing credible in this woman or her claims. She was a Democratic prop, and only for optics Kavanaugh couldn't say it. But I can say it since I'm not on any ballots. She was an obvious prop attempt and failed.

 

There was never anything in this to gain for her except to get a 35 year wrong off her chest.

Yes, the RWers will hound her like the LWers hound Zimmerman. Maybe even one will carry out the death threat against her or her family.

Either way, the best thing for her is a full FBI investigation and, obviously, neither Trump nor the Republicans want that to ever happen.

 

The solution is a full FBI investigation into her and her friends. Follow where the evidence leads. Why won’t Trump or the Republicans do this?

 

Again, having a fear of flying doesn't mean you every fly any more than having a social phobia mean you never socialize.

 

And kavanaugh lied about his time under bush.

I have said for years that democrats will lie and say anything they feel benefits them politically. Collectivist in general justify any action that they feel benefits the greater good. The ends outweigh the means to democrats.

One day they will cry sexual assault and the next day they will defend Bill Clinton and bribe victims of sexual assault with tax dollars into silence.

 

I could careless if The FBI investigated because there was nothing to Investigate. She is a Democrat and that is enough to lead me to believe she is a hack and a liar. I'm sure she gives Dianne Feinstein a pass for using tax payer money to bribe the victims of sexual assault into silence because they were democrats.

 

Mostly everyone lies once. If we're looking for Jesus/Buddha/etc(whatever you believe in), in human form we're simply not going to find it. The best remarks might have come from Sen Flake ironically(so he can sound reasonable when he's not on the 2020 stump-train) when he said they were 21 imperfect senators trying to find the truth.

And Ford/Kavanaugh are both imperfect humans. Trying to find the truth, especially in the absence of collaborative evidence is going to be next to impossible.

So you know what? I'll admit my bias: I do believe Judge Kavanaugh. I don't believe anyone can hold any public office for that amount of time, and yet act so far to the contrary. Same thing with his coaching and other things.

Kav's record is just that much stronger than Ford's in their livelihoods.
