    I don't think Chastity Bono ever had her genitals changed i.e. has not transitioned. At least not last I heard....

    Because the media are unprofessional garbage that like to conjure up an angle and then shove it down our throats 24/7.

    The media never report people who get the "transformation" as it's euphemistically called and regret it. Indeed such things are common enough that Johns Hopkins stopped giving "gender reassignment surgeries" for that reason.

    Sorry, but citing an article about intersex people whose sex was surgically reassigned when they were babies, doesn't even begin to support the argument you're attempting to make about transgender adults. If anything, it actually defeats your implied argument, since some of those people whose sex was changed as babies pursued another surgical option later to make their physical attributes comport with their gender identity - similar to what some transgender people do.

    Editing to add: Thank goodness Johns Hopkins has stopped the barbaric practice of forcing unnecessary surgery on intersex babies.
