Why is Iceland so free of violent crime ? (Take a wild guess)

Plus the disengenous "I hate 'certain' cultures".....why doesn't he try "I don't hate blacks...I just hate people who are descended from slaves who came from Africa...or even if they just flew here last week from Africa....unless they are descended from Dutch or British from South Africa, of course."

 

Iceland's largest city has a population of only 120,000, there are only 9 towns with a population over 5,000.

Iceland is made up of mostly small town folks, no brainer why violent crime is so low.

 

It's not racist to hate a violent culture. Why do you not find the thug culture deplorable ?

 

Hmmm, very small population over a relatively vast territory, homogeneous population ( nordic white ), stable economy and frankly, the icely cold climate could be also a reason why people are more prone to stay calm in their homes or go to work instead of going around doing nothing or causing troubles. Most probably there are dangerous sociopaths there in iceland too and armed, but they don't feel the urge to go in a mall or to school and start shooting people down.

 

Thanks for admitting that having a homogenous Nordic white population is a factor in low crime rates. Most people on the left would never admit that, though most of them know it, deep down.

What EXACTLY do you want to DO about the high crime rates in our nation's cities, which are predominantly African American and controlled by Democrats, Cap'n?

They must admit it because it's true. They are right only if they say that an heterogeneous population doesn't necessarily mean troubles if there is no racial attrition and people aren't racist ( Rome was a vast heterogeneous empire, with not much racial trouble ).

What is minorities?

 

Cultural homogeneity and geographic isolation.

If you couple that with a high standard of living and good education systems, then yeah, crime will be low.

In general, prosperous homogeneous societies are the most peaceful. A multicultural society is harder to maintain peace in, because diversity breeds conflict.

This doesn't mean that diversity lacks positive qualities, however.

And it's not a white thing. It's a common ground thing. When everyone is on the same page when it comes to cultural priorities, it's easier to organize things like public amenities.

Can the low crime rate in Iceland somehow be looked at as a positive result of global warming? I mean, everything bad in the world cam be linked to global warming, so can't it also have the rare positive effect?

 

No drugs, no class warfare, no leadership causing division among it's people, or excusing failure, or blaming anyone but themselves.

While I think we aren't selective enough in immigration and we have arbitrary rules by country that don't make sense, a certain amount of the poor who come here fill economic roles that "natives" won't.

We need cheap labor for agriculture. If we had a more open visa system, we'd have fewer problems with migrant labor staying here.

We'd also have fewer problems by changing how our citizenship by birth works. Jus sanguinis makes more sense than jus soli.

 

After two pages I got tired of reading the back and forth. The reason Iceland has such a low crime rate is because they have virtually no blacks or other 'minorities in their population. A fact that we and other countries should acknowledge in their social and immigration policies..........

 

I agree. The intent of the thread, both yours and this one, is wholly racial, denigrate blacks at every turn, to imply through racial bigotry that melanin content is the single cause of crime.
