Why is it the multitudes are taking the bait and the lies are being swallowed?

Why is it the multitudes are "Taking the Bait(ease of life), and The Lies are being Swallowed(believed), Hook(money), Line(education, religion, media), and Sinker(progress, technology)"?

 

I have nothing against ease and quality of life...

 

Maybe it's because those who claim to know anything about it talks in weird analogies that aren't relevant or accurate and are so vague that they don't ease understanding?

 

Understanding, and all that is Truly Good needs be received!

Life itself is received with each and every breath we take.

And who taught you how to breathe?

I can entertain the thought that life is given by breath, even though the fact that people can hold their breaths proves that that is not fundamental, only an effect. Care to back up your reason to choose the word "who" when discussing learning how to breathe?

So it is that, liken unto The Messiah, we choose to be but "aliens and pilgrims while on the earth" for we realize that our "citizenship(Life) is in Heaven, and that soon, and very soon, we will be taken Home, Home at last!
