Poor refugees fleeing their country with just the clothing on their backs, and no money. But the did you notice the guy in the first photo casually strolling along with a smoke hanging out of his mouth? Cigarettes are expensive to buy, so if he can afford to buy a packet of cigarettes, then he is not as poor as he claims. :roflol: :roflol:

No one will ever convince me those human rats are fleeing their countries because they are all in fear for their lives.

While some people wish to pretend they are not the slave of their own insular media, no clearer demonstration can be made as to ignore anything your acceptable media (by their own bias) does not feed them. Such comes and attempt to shut down discussion.

    BUT to the OP

No clearer demonstration can be seen of how one or two nations are controlling the direction and economies of all the member nations of the EU. Now it is true that the economies were to be centralised by opening the markets but the idea of controlling economies in attempts to control the people of those nations is getting close to tyranny in those poorer nations who rely on the more wealthy nations for survival.

While the article does infer the UK will foot the bill alone, that seems to be just inference as the article goes on to say the payment will come out of the EU budget which the UK is a major contributor.

I do believe, that even though the article has made some comments in attempt to portray a perception that is not actually strictly true, the underlying point of how Brussels is manipulating nations with the threat of financial hardship to follow the rule of a very few nations is clear demonstration of how the EU works and its intentions. NOT GOOD.

I don't know, I just don't think the idea is a very good idea. For example we only have to look to the Australian government’s handouts and compensations for taxes and so called spending intentions of the ALP. All that government subsidies were absorb by the markets and increased cost impacted the people of the nation greater than if there was no subsidies.
