we hold the trump cards. How will they take our guns, unless we just roll over and LET them do whatever they want to us? Tyants have always killed MANY times as many innocents as criminals have, so why risk being helpless against tyrants?

you don't have to fight tanks, ya know. tanks need fuel, so use incendiary devices on the fuel dumps, the pipelines, etc. You'll need a silenced autorifle to shoot the sentries first, that's all.

Tanks don't drive themselves, and the crews DO get out, frequently. So then you use your silenced, concealable autorifle to shoot them. There ARE perfectly feasible ways to effectively resist tyrants, you just have to have a bit of brains (and guts).

Some things, as right as they may or may not be, are better left unsaid.

When was the last time that "tyranny" in the US was stopped by a "silenced, concealable autorifle?"

    The "War on Drugs."
The "Patriot Act" and all its incarnations.
    The Republicans' "War on Voting."

People just pretend that their rights haven't been abrogated as long as most of the news they hear is about the rights of OTHERS being infringed upon.

in 1775, they were asking how mere muskets could stop the British, too. Also, the brit soldiers of that day and age had LOTS more courage than today's military wimps. They want HOT meals in the field, ferchrissakes.

All those methods worked well in Iraq and Afghanistan didn't they? And the insurgents had advantages you gun guys don't: Heavy weapons; tactical doctrine; unified strategy; experience; discipline; and they were probably more fit on average than you. Keep thinking the way you do, though. When your rebellion balloon goes up it'll just be evolution in action.
