I disagree, a phobia in my opinion is a symptom, a psychosis is also a symptom, hypoxia can cause a grocery list of abnormal brain chemistry, for instance, hypothermia can induce skews in perception, hallucinations, both visual an auditory, phobias and psychosis are symptomatic of other greater mental processes occuring in the abnormal or altered States of skews in perception, scopophobia is a good example.

Paranoia is another, if you perceive others as out to get you somehow, this is a symptom of your skewed perception of how others interact with you socially, if someone greets you normally, abnormal or skewed perception may cause ideation and other hallucinatory eveidence that the person greeting you is somehow an enemy.

Why is it that people who do not want trans people in their bathrooms need to get over it but the trans people using their biological gender bathroom do not have to just get over it? The LGBT community seems to think that the whole world needs to change for the trans community but the trans community does not have to change for anybody.
