You can hold those beliefs if a private business owner but that doesn't mean we as customers will do business with you and do other legal means to show our dislike of your business attitude. If you work for a business you must follow the Corporate rules or be disciplined or fired.

We have individual first amendment rights to freedom of religion, so do corporations.

No factual advice about learning that the bible you use has been changed to suit various religious ideologies, and interpreted to match the translators bias. For one thing there is nothing in the bible that condemns homosexuality over all.

Give it your best shot, post all the biblical verses that supposedly say homosexuality is a sin, there is not one of them that says what you think it does.

This thread is still going? I don't see what the big deal about baking a cake is; it's not like the cake baker has to participate in the ceremony or anything.

That's a good suggestion. If only you and yours would follow it, as opposed to trying to force everyone else to follow your belief structure, whether or not they actually believe in it.

anyone suggesting or ordering me to accept something that goes against my conscience, is ignored, even at gun point. How set are you in your belief structures?

Which nobody is infringing upon. What you keep intentionally ignoring is that your beliefs don't allow you to discriminate if you offer goods or services to the public.

Nope, Ireland only prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender, family status, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, religious belief, race, and membership of the Traveller community

As a supporter of same-sex marriage, I have no problem with this. Nobody has the right to compel another to act. As a business owner, you have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason you see fit as far as I'm concerned.

Thought I was in the other thread about wedding cakes in Ireland. AND unless we are in California, the same point remains, sooooo not sure of your point.

    - - - Updated - - -

Youre in California. Business owners cant refuse service on any arbitrary basis. The only state with such laws

If you think they are violating the laws, then throw them in jail. Just see how far that gets you when you start putting people in prison for their religious beliefs.

??? My point is even more relevant in the US that only prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, or national origin.

People aren't put in jail for their beliefs. Public accommodation laws simply restricts discrimination.
