Would Liberals Support Interning and Executing Political Adversaries??

Here we are in the midst of yet even more liberal moral failure. We have the IRS systematically targeting groups for undue scrutiny while letting their political allies through the gate with a wink and a nod.

As with most government power grabs, this one will likely expand. Little to nothing will come of the IRS's tactics. This will embolden totalitarian thugs like Barack Obama. What we can look forward to is more use of the IRS to silence opposition. While it has started with targeting non-profit groups, soon people will be targeted for the sin of donating to Libertarians, Republicans and probably for daring to speak out against totalitarian thug tactics like that used by the Obama administration.

Sadly, most liberals fall into two categories: complete denial and actually applauding using the IRS to silence political opposition. This is no surprise to normal Americans.

So as we see policies like using the IRS to harass people expand, can we expect liberals to make a stand at some point? Of course not. There is no reason whatsoever to believe they will get some principles and morals at some point. From the top, we are dealing with a typical Chicago Thug Politician in Barack Obama. The man doesn't even respect life enough to vote against throwing live babies out with medical waste. Will he suddenly begin respecting life when it comes time to open internment camps and send his political adversaries in for reeducation and execution? Of course not. Will liberals suddenly draw the line when their Fuhrer decides it is time for his final solution? There's simply no evidence of that. Liberals have walked in lockstep with thug tactics from day one. From liberals' love of abortion (and let's be clear, most liberals are pro-abortion, not pro-choice),union thug violence to leftist riots, it is clear liberals have no respect whatsoever for other human beings or their property.

What we are seeing here in the United States today is most likely similar to what it was like in Germany in the early days of Hitler. I'm certain there were groups just like today's liberals, either in complete denial about what was to come, or worse yet, actual supporters of it. Of course, most of today's liberals will deny, deny, deny.

The thing is, liberals have a history- one they'd like to deny and forget. Is it a coincidence that the liberal god FDR, was the president to put Americans into internment camps because of the color of their skin? Of course not. This is how liberals roll. They believe in force and violence to shut people up and make them go along. Rest assured they will have no problem using the IRS, military, or Obama's planned Hitler, er, Obama Youth thugs to take what is yours and give to the "right" people.

My friends, this country is absolutely finished. I know many of you believe that Obama is in trouble with his Benghazi Bungle, his use of the IRS to harass Americans, etc. The problem is we have a mainstream media who have proven they will do absolutely ANYTHING to protect their messiah from accountability. To think the media will somehow get morals and principles when Obama steps up the trouncing of civil rights is as laughable as expecting a garden variety liberal to do so.

While this is not true it is a fun story. There is no indication that the White House was involved. I guess you never created one of these groups, I have and my liberal group had hoops to jump through.

Totalitarian? wow....so where you outraged by the Bush IRS investigating the NAACP? You should get a job in Hollywood writing or maybe you are simply repeating what you have been told because there is no evidence anywhere that it is happening, can happen, or will happen.

The right wing should open night clubs reading minds since they try all the time. How did the IRS silence opposition. Right wing 501c4 outspent the left. If they were silencing them they did a horrible job.

Again no evidence the White House was involved. So this is what is called a lie.

While this is not true it has the added attraction of being irrelevant.

And this means this thread belongs in the conspiracy section....good lord not this again.

Calm down Godwin....there is no Fuhrer here.

Again more mind reading. Good lord and all conservatives want to kill all people of colour....

You have no freaking idea of what Germany was like in the early years of Hitler, please stop you look like a bigoted moron when you say things like this. We will deny because we live in reality. The moon is not made of green cheese, George Bush did not fly planes into the towers, and Elvis is dead and buried in Memphis.

    T
Of course everything here is a lie. Liberals, both at the time of FDR and today, have been the most outspoken at the horrors of the 1940s internment camps. The most outspoken person in pop culture today is George Takai. A liberal's liberal.

except the main stream media has been talking about all these things for weeks and if you actually watched it you would know that. There is a real issue here and of course the right wing noise machine doesn't get it. Oh well....

As expected, you come out quick with denial. Oh and the story about your alleged group- nice touch. Unfortunately for you, we are talking about reality here and your alleged story means absolutely nothing in context of current events. And that reality: the IRS has been used as a tool to to target Obama's political adversaries.

Wow, who would have expected a Bush subject change? And yes, there is plenty of evidence to show conservative groups have been targeted. More denial, what a shock. I guess we know what you'll do when the ovens are fired up.

Wow, surprisingly, you have a point. Th IRS harassed people based on them being political adversaries of the president. Thanks for the opportunity to clarify/correct.

No, opinions are not lies. And in my opinion, this harassment order comes from the top. Obama's joke about using the IRS to harass adversaries? It wasn't a joke at all, it was a stated plan.

Wow, the race card. How original!

No, I have a pretty good idea of what it was like in Germany. Your attempt to blather about green cheese is a desperate attempt at a totally false equity. You are in a denial nearly identical. Thanks for putting it on display so prominently.

So what? They talked about George W. Bush for eight years. Did you have an actual point to make, Captain Obvious?

Wow, one Asian liberal makes your case? Of course not. No, your huffing and puffing means little to nothing, except of course to once again illustrate liberal dishonesty about alleged outrage over FDR.

Interesting. Two liberals, and not one has stated they would oppose interning or executing political adversaries. However, at least you have been a bit honest and proposed the rape of political adversaries. Based on your clear desire to rape political adversaries, I think it is fair to say you would be one of the liberals who would actually support interning and executing political adversaries.

Did you mean to reveal so much about yourself?

So you call me a liar nice touch. But you have no proof the White House was involved so par for the course. Denying something that isn't true is an appropriate reaction.

Again Godwin you sound like a raving lunatic. Get help. The Bush thing was not a subject change just a point that you seem to ignore.

so evidence of not being silenced is evidence of silencing to you?

You don't seem to understand what opinion means. When you make a declarative (google it) statement then you are not offering an opinion. So you believe that the President did this. Fine. I believe that you are typing from the day room at a mental health facility. So how is the food?

I was making a point. You can't know what liberals think and I don't know what conservatives think. But you seem to think statements like that are fair game.

    No you don't...sorry

ummmm I was refuting the point you made when you said that the main stream media is ignoring this and having the President's back You were lying. Maybe you should watch and read it. The person who literally wrote the book refuting the right wing fantasy of the liberal media has hammered the administration on going after journalists who are getting leaks and the IRS issue. So.................................. do you even read what you write?

What is sad is that you sound like you have less information now than when you started. Pity on you and on the right if this is all you have.

No. I just say that the criminal element need to be purged. Luckily Breitbart croaked on his own.

If the militias do ever get froggy, they should be rounded up and sorted out, but beyond that, it would just lead to more problems than it is worth.

Okay I will play. Yes I oppose it. See that was easy. But the thing is there is zero evidence that anything like this will happen so it is like saying I oppose the President using his tornado gun to hit Oklahoma City. It is conspiracy nuttery. I am sorry it is like ask are you opposed to conservatives eating babies. Both are just as likely.

That's a lot of scary bogeymen you trotted out in your post.
I would suggest medication to treat the paranoia, and education to treat the ignorance.
But nothing will really help if you keep drinking the right-wing koolaid.

Employing central authority to systematically... and without due process...violate one's natural rights to life and liberty....

is only a hop, skip and a jump from systematically violating one's First Amendment protected rights
to free speech and freedom of the press.

Obama's IRS and DOJ have clumsily, but quite effectively, revealed just how little they care about the latter.

The head of the IRS is a Bush appointee. But hey, don't let facts stop you. I'm sure Obama is constantly running every single aspect of the government that you don't like.

And let's pretend the IRS didn't go after the NAACP or other liberal organizations, because facts suck.

Translation: I would definitely support internment camps and executions for political adversaries. Of course, I can't admit it. So how about a personal attack instead?

Oh nos! That would be damning...except for one thing, slick. Shulman is on record donating money to Democrats...including your imperious Boy King.......and his bride is a principle in a tax-exempt progressive organization. Not an evil right-winger you and that cucking filthy lying funt Pelosi are desperately attempting to imply.

How about some REAL evidence and/or related CONVICTIONS to support those (essentially) baseless allegations?

To answer the question in the thread's title while leaving the rest of the silliness here alone, no - actual liberals do not believe in using the powers of state to suppress, intimidate, imprison, or otherwise harm people on grounds of being political adversaries. There might be some people out there who call themselves liberal and would if they could, but to have that position would be extremely contradictory to the ideology's tenets.

The only people of whom I know to favor internment and executions for political opponents from first-hand experiences (including an entire thread dedicated to discussing what percentage of the population needs to be purged in the name of their cause on another forum) are from amongst the ranks of revolutionary communists, fascists, and libertarians. The far-left and far-right folks expressed this desire a bit more often than the libertarians - all of whom were anarchists, by the way. It's the radicals and reactionaries rather than the liberals and conservatives one should be wariest of when it comes to ones likelihood of rejecting peaceful methods of bringing about political changes.

Edit: Just in case it isn't clear by the way, I do not support interning and executing political adversaries. I also oppose conscription, torture, deportation of political adversaries, and the death penalty in general - even for treason.

I think the answer to your question is a qualified yes. They would support that as long as the left is in power.

Of course, if you ask the average liberal they would say, "Of course not!" and probably mean it at the time, until they actually got the opportunity to do just that.

Liberal Journalist Joe Klein wanted Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck charged with Sedition. So the authoritarian bent that is common to the left would come out if given the chance.

No, if I wanted to call you a liar, I'd call you a liar.I believe that based on Obama's previous friends, his "joke" about using the IRS to persecute political adversaries, and his lust for complete control all point to him being involved. Futhermore, you don't know it's not true.

Nice try, but changing the subject from Obama to Bush is a subject change. Furthermore, it's not even a good one, as there was no effort to persecute multiple groups based on political ideology.Of course I'm going to ignore irrelevant Bush obsession.

Clearly there were multiple attempts by the IRS to silence political opposition. I think it's hilarious watching you continue in denial, Baghdad Bob.

Wow, another personal attack- obviously you feel you don't have a decent argument to offer. And you're right.

Of course I can know what liberals think, as I can and do read. DUH!

Yes, I do. Sorry. Besides, didn't you just say you can't know what I think? Now all of the sudden you do. Which is it?

Of course they are protecting him. If they weren't, they'd be demanding the administration quit spying on them and demand more facts. You citing one person does not constitute the media at large. This is much like your hilarious attempt to portray George Takei as liberals as a whole when in reality he is one person- a JAPANESE person who obviously would be upset with your god FDR's actions like any normal, non koolaid drinker would.

What's this "all you have" babbling about? There is plenty to criticize Barack Obama for. There's the deficit, the debt he's accumulated, his refusal to reign in spending, his war for oil, his murdering of innocent civilians.

NEWSFLASH: There is more to Obama's incompetence and evil than his IRS stunts.

    To answer the thread question:

Yes. Liberals would support interning and executing political adversaries.

    But only in SPECIAL circumstances.

After all, you'd have to agree that Libs are fair and reasonable.

    Yes?

Simple. By observing history, understanding the nature of the federal government, and understanding Obama's communist leanings and thug tactics. Got any tough questions?

    - - - Updated - - -

It's still Obama's IRS. He "joked" about using the IRS to persecute adversaries. Obviously, he was doing more than joking. And also obviously, we can add you to the count of people who would remain in denial as the camps and ovens put to use. Heil Obama!
