Yeah But You were wrong about the election

It seems that every discussion in this forum right now no matter how far the topic is removed from the election eventually leads with one of our resorting to searching through someones CP and listing what they said about the last election to attack them for being wrong about something.

This violates 3 of our forum rules.

#1 Its off topic.

#2 Its an ad hom attack

#3 Its trolling; trying to rub salt in a wound and illicit a negative response.

Moderation needs to come down hard on these posts as such tactics will drive away the conservatives on the forum, not just deleting the posts but also issuing warnings and infractions. No one wants to take part in a debate where someone will ad hom you with unrelated old posts every time they feel they are losing an argument.

I am sure you are wrong about this. I'm sure that if Romeny won and the GOP took the senate he would have posted things like "Well, you gave it a good try and I hope you don't feel bad about the outcome."

Romney did win but the political left won;t admit it and the right want people to think Romney isn't really the president.

I think it's pefectly legitimate to bring up an old post if someone is now saying something that contradicts what they said previously.


And I really love pointing out other people's contradictions.

 

I think that the trolling in this thread basically proves the point.
