Reagan was ridiculed like that prior to his election as well.

Obama mentioned the TV program West Wing as having been informative to him.

Since ridicule is such a highly prized weapon in the arsenal of some of you, though, I can see that you might fall back on it in desperation. However, all it succeeds in doing with many of us is to demonstrate how little you care about the well being of the workers you all depend on when things get rough.

Just remember this attitude of yours the next time something you depend on breaks down, and the nearest tech that understands how to repair it was laid off years ago.

Trump is no Reagan. He's a sociopathic nut job. The US will never like Trump like Reagan. Come on now, lmao.

He's no worse than the bosses many of us have had to put up with. We still had the sense to work for them because they knew what they were doing.

A sociopath is a person without a sense of right and wrong. Trump feels that what is happening to the US is wrong. He is not a sociopath. He has inherited some of the pernicious attitudes of our elites, who do not care about the welfare of members of other social groups...but at least he is aware that people in those groups are real people like him, with real lives and real needs to have decent lives and make their contributions to society. That is more of awareness than many in that social class have,...and that is the class Hillary is sold out to.

Workers have no hope with Hillary. She is determined to sacrifice them to being the tax playing slaves of any other social class she can convince to vote for her, whether or not they are citizens.

He's way worse. He's a psychopath. The craziest person I've ever seen get this close to the Presidency. If he can't control people with his money, he's a loose cannon. Definitely can't be trusted running this country. Like many prominent Republicans have said.

You could, of course, be correct, but based on what I have been seeing I don't think so. I would appreciate your watchfulness and further input as the campaign proceeds.

Not even close. Reagan at least had some experience with the SAG and being a governor. There is no comparison to a reality TV star who's claim to fame is using daddy's money and business contacts to get rich.
How does me calling trump a reality TV star denigrate workers who I may depend on some day? Where exactly did I demonstrate how little I cared about workers' well being? You're really projecting here and it's you who reek of desperation. That's par for the course in trumpland nowadays where even you know he's a joke and circling the drain.

It shows you haven't even bothered to listen to Trump's message, which is a valid one.

What kind of a citizen does that make you?

Nothing about trump's message makes me think he is anything but a spoiled child in a fat, orange man's body. It does takes guts nowadays to hitch yourself to the sinking ship that is trump's campaign. It also takes an absence of brains.

Poll: Clinton holds large lead among millennials

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton holds a large lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump among millennial voters, according to a new USA Today/Rock the Vote poll.

Clinton is favored by 56 percent of voters under the age of 35, while Trump is backed by only 20 percent, according to the survey of millennials.

In a four-way matchup including Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein, Clinton gets 50 percent of the vote from those under 35 and Trump receives only 18 percent. Johnson is favored by 11 percent and Stein by 4 percent. Another 18 percent say they won't vote or don't know whom they will vote for.

According to the survey, half of those under 35 say they identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party.

Remember when Donald said he would win NY……..
Well at last look, he is upside-down by 30 pts.

Any comparison between Reagan and Trump is misinformed, misguided, and ludicrous.

Comparing a 2-term Governor of the nation's largest state (who had barely missed the nomination 4 years earlier) with Trump's absurd carnival act is beyond imbecilic.

I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who would compare Trump's current situation to Reagan's in 1980.

Obviously, a person expressing such a view is very misinformed about American Electoral history.

The gist of the OP is wrong, as is your message.

"Most fundraising happens on the Internet" is not the same as "ALL fundraising happens on the Internet," does it? Not EVERYONE is an Internet addict. If they were, no one would go to his or Clinton rallies.

Actually, a huge share of fund raising is done one-on-one in closed rooms from BIG donors. You nor I have any clue what all Trump did that day in Connecticut.

Democrats and the corporate propaganda MSM is going nuts that Trump won't run a respectable losing campaign like McCain and Romney, both who graveled before the press and media like the losers they are.

As I stated, national news doesn't care what state a candidate is speaking in.

Start a parade handing out protest signs and you'll be somewhere in the back of it? That's you point, correct? Doesn't matter what the sign says, just what you think is popular at the particular moment. It's called total submissiveness to power and peer pressure.

The polls are proven wrong over and over again because they are polling registered voters, rather than likely voters. All the difference in the world.

I think Trump would make good administrator that would get a lot of useful things done, and IMO our country needs someone like him at this point. He has presented us with an opportunity I think we should take. If we don't I shrudder to think of where present policies may end up. If I didn't think Trump's insights were correct of course I would not bother supporting him.

Your anti-white racism and unreasoning fascination with your own feelings as opposed to the needs of the country at present are noted and not too surprising to me.

Have some money you want to lose?

Being from NY........and knowing how folks feel about 40 years of the Donald stuns, BS, and other rather distasteful qualities............No surprise he is upside down by 30 pts.

How long have you experienced this clown.................1 year.............

Thank God he will lose so you need not suffer the embarrassment of having voted for this (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bag...........

I cannot imagine anyone as a good administrator, who either cannot or will not take professional advise, and who either cannot or will not discipline his own conduct. He is not acting unconventionally. He is acting like a spoiled self-entitled 15 year old boy. At least we have meds to help the kid's impulsive streak.

Well then, feel free to just keep on raging against those nasty, dangerous windmills. Everyone except Trump is a dangerous Liberal. The world is a dark, evil place and we must grasp to the most extreme of measure of protect ourselves. Don't believe the polls, they are all an alumnotti lie, yadayadayadayadayada...... if you think that Romney and McCain lost because they behaved like adults vis-a-vis the press, then I would submit to you that you have a lot to learn. Good luck on your continuing education, you are going to need it.

This is an intellectual untruth on your part in more than one way: first, in both 2008 and 2012, the average of RV and LV screens came closest to reality in most all state polling, and I can prove it. Second, be careful what you ask for, because in 2016, time and time again, Clinton is doing BETTER with LV screens than with RV screens. The myth of Republicans always doing better with LV screens has now been officially busted. So, you may want to reconsider that.

Furthermore, at this point in time, relying on LV screens only is ridiculous, because many people who are not yet sure that they are going to vote but are registered will become quite sure after Labor Day and so, ruling them out now is just childish. Either way, Clinton is measurably ahead of that disaster named Trump and is landsliding in a number of key battlegrounds where Trump has little hope of regaining ground. So, feel free to continue to spew nonsense. I will just laugh and call you out on it. Cuz it's fun. And your writing is way out of the league - go educate yourself first and then let's see if reasoned debate with you is even possible. I am starting to have my doubts....

And who also took a shot at the presidency 8 years before that, in 1968. In fact, Reagan WON the CA primary in 1968. Most people are not even aware of this electoral fact. In fact, that is all he won, very similar to Kasich in 2016.

I am well aware of it.

In fact Reagan received 100% of the vote in California, and finished with more primary votes than Nixon. (Total GOP Primary Votes - 1,696,632)

That was actually more votes than Nixon got in all of the state primaries he ran in. (Nixon won 10). (Total GOP Primary Votes - 1,679,443)

    A very interesting fact.

Especially, when one considers that in 1966 Reagan won the Cali Governorship by defeating Pat Brown (the candidate who had defeated Nixon in '62).

The LA Times/USC daily tracking poll shows Trump behind by just over 3 points.

This is a close race and Trump has been on a virtual family vacation since the campaign began.
