And there is more to any argument about that than you are indicating above.

For the most part, homosexual people DO NOT have equal rights under the law.

Sure they do. Just like heterosexuals, they are limited to choosing someone of the opposite sex. Doesnt matter if Im gay, straight or somewhere inbeteen, I cant marry my brother because he is of the same sex.

They do that, because they WISH to... not because they are REQUIRED TO (by law).

You should be (capable of) reading what I wrote, then take from it the possible/likely meaning. (I promise that I won't spell it out for you... ever.)

Come on, give it a try.

You want me to guess as to which paranoid delusion you might be referring? No thanks.

People are people. I might deal with an obnoxious and intolerant person in one way, and a reasonable and intelligent one in another. I don't believe their sexual preference would effect either case, so I don't see why I'd even bother to ask.

Because Johnny believes homosexuals are special and worthy of special treatment. Identity Politics.

Since when was being able to marry the person you love and wish to spend the rest of your life with, and potentially raise kids together, "special treatment"?

No special treatment requested or required. Remove any discrimination based on race, religion, sex (or even sexual orientation) from the law and I'm guessing Johnny would have no problem with it. Dixon on the other hand has repeatedly asked for special treatment.
