Zimmerman Trial ~ (Monday July 1st)

I don't think any of the rational people posting about this trial think Zimmerman didn't act in self defense.

I think the hurdle that does remain for Zimmerman is justifying how he came into proxmity with Zimmerman. I know Zimmerman says Martin attacked him, but there are no witnesses regarding who hit who first, or who provoked who first......or of course, the judge may instruct the jury to only consider the evidence and testimony presented, which is all Zimmerman on that

IMO, if the defense handles that the way they've handled everything else...Zimmerman will walk

 

Care to make a wager as to which half ? It is actually not half. We have about 20 smart-minded Conservatives vs. about a half-dozen hair-brained libs. I'll bet $100 on Z walking, and give you 2:1. Money must be put in escrow via PayPal and an escrow service. Offer on table until midnight tonight.

Omara: So did you think Zimmerman was telling the truth?

Omara: So you had enough evidence on the scene to verify that is was self defense didn't you?
Serrino: Well I did have evidence that would support that.

News flash padawan if someone attacks you because of a misunderstanding and you are forcec to kill ghem it is still self defense.

There is a reason the law limits provocation to forceful actions or threats of force.

it is simple: everyone agrees that trayvon ran between the townhomes away from the "t" in the sidewalk. trayvon's presence back at the "t' has to be explained by the state. so far, nothing.

 

the involuntary manslaughter is why it is crucial that the jury believe that martin was reaching towards zimmermans gun and saying "tonight you are going to die" otherwise it is a judgement call in whether he overreacted to a ass whupping

 

Where are you getting your bigoted "definitions"........how is society harmed in any way if marriage is defined as between any consenting adults.....no matter how many there may be........equal protection clause baby......that's what the Supremes relyed on. Why does society need to go by your antiquated and bigoted definition of "two" consenting adults? How does expanding the definition to as many consenting adults as possible harm society?

 

If we have rational people on the jury, they will understand that a timid little neighborhood watch guy who hid in the shadows and spoke softly to a dispatcher while he followed Martin would not suddenly become an aggressive man upon seeing Martin up close and attack him. Makes no sense. Now a racist 17 year old kid full of (*)(*)(*)(*) and vinegar , would he attack someone essentially unprovoked? Sure 17 year olds are generally not very smart when it comes to things like this. I know I wasn't at that age.

I think Trayvon confronted Zimmerman and Zimmerman froze (because he is really a timid little guy). Martin sensed his fear and weakness and attacked him. Why? Hard to say. Too much testosterone, a thug mentality, because he was white, who knows, but it was HIGHLY unlikely that Zimmerman was the aggressor.

The ace-in-the-hole for the Defense is what we have always said it is. 4 minutes where Trayvon could have gone home, gotten in front of the NBA all star game, and made popcorn too. Where instead, he advanced all of 90 feet. He waited on Z. You are welcome to any other explanation, but that is the one the Defense will make, and there is not better rational explanation.

One more thing. DeeDee is lying. She is not just slovenly and dim-witted. She is a liar. Her explanation for what M said in those minutes does not match what would be reasonable. Whether M circled around, or just hid and waited, it is unreasonable to believe that he did not communicate this to DeeDee. She indicated her heavy bias and dishonesty under oath when she asserted that M was hit first. She got nailed on it, but it demonstrated that she will lie under oath about the most important of truths. She fabricated that fact. Under oath. And admitted such once nailed by West.

I am certain that the Defense closing will make note of all of this.

 

I myself want to revist the part where Serino tells Zimmy ... *How do we know Martin wasn't defending himself against you* ?

 

News flash. If someone is beating your head against concrete its not a question of if it will kill you, only how long it will take.

 

I think the whole logistics thing that the prosecution is assembling better have some point they haven't introduced yet...because in spite of my contempt for Zimmerman being a pu*sy that shot someone because he was losing a fight.......if I were on the jury, and the trial were over at this point, I'd vote to acquit.

Seriously what do Bernie and Angela Nifong talk about at night. Angela to Bernie: "Tell me again exactly why we put Serino on the stand today?......All he did was say that he thought GZ was telling the truth, he was pressured to bring the case and that there was evidence to support GZ's self-defense claim........what the (*)(*)(*)(*) were we thinking". Bernie to Angela: "You brought the case with that lame-ass probable cause affidavit.....you got any ideas?"

 

it was good the state showed george's video today. he was sincere and honest and i'm sure the jury sees that.

 

Meaning that the state is losing, BADLY!
