https://www.ethz.ch/en/news-and-events/eth-news/news/2017/07/artificial_heart.html If I understood correctly, it appears to be a fully functional artificial heart, that can basically be made on a 3D printer - in any part of the world. Current main problem seems to be the durability of material, but aside from that... It is mind blowing how many lives can be saved by this development, once it finished.
They don't say anything about compatibility but I believe with an artificial heart there are no compatibility issues. The problem will be durability of material, still it would be an incredible achievement and save many lives if they can sort that out.
I wonder when they start to make artificial brains What they do at ETH in Zurich-one of the top Institutes in Europe is amazing. The next step is for those who do research in biopolymers. There should be indeed no problem with compatability.
Oh man... The Durability: 3000 beats = 0.5 hrs Not even enough to pump some kool-aid to Suzy's brain while she walking down the Lincoln Ave hunting for deals in a hot summer like this
This one is all natural, home grown processor, Madame Madmazel... It's galactic... Don't believe me? Ask Mr. Robert Wayne Smith of Tauranga, he knows pretty well how it works... By the way I've heard the artificial ones come with a "sweet-dream-feature"... I guess that's what just caused that "superiority" glitch there... hahahah...
