So sad.... I wonder how many US soldiers needlessly died in the middle east today... Or how many christian children were slaughtered in Egypt... But sure lets talk about some lady who could sing well...
Don't worry yourselves too much about illegal drugs. "Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, imposing a terrible toll in health, lives and dollars on families, businesses and government. Tobacco kills more than 400,000 people annually more than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, illegal drugs, murders and suicides combined." http://www.tobaccofreekids.org/facts_issues/toll_us/ "Alcohol abuse kills some 75,000 Americans each year and shortens the lives of these people by an average of 30 years, a U.S. government study suggested Thursday. "Excessive alcohol consumption is the third leading cause of preventable death in the United States after tobacco use and poor eating and exercise habits." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6089353/ns/health-addictions/t/alcohol-linked-us-deaths-year/
Sure, it is, Trin - if the driver of the car is higher than a kite on pot.... A friend told me about her doing that... high on pot and driving around, laughing up a storm about nothing, slow reflexes, not really aware of her surroundings ...... an accident just waiting to happen. Said she'd always regretted being so stupid and knew she was lucky she hadn't caused an accident and possibly kill someone. IIRC, cocaine and heroin used to be legal here.....
That's not a death caused by overdose. Someone actually smoking dope can't die from a direct overdose; that's what the OP meant.
Scientology is a CULT. Cults don't help anyone - it just brainwashes people and Cruise is one of the biggest brainwashed idiots in Hollywood........
Didn't I just read a post w/article in it about a young guy who died from overdosing on pot? He fell into his pizza, holding a bong? I think he lived in Australia? I'm going to bed in a few minutes ... will check tomorrow to make sure I didn't dream that article up.......
It is impossible to overdose on pot consuming it in any traditional way. The lies people perpetuate on this forum is unbelievable. You also didn't mention the 10's of thousand people who die every year from misuse of prescribed pharmaceuticals, or how many people die from the prescription of the wrong pharmaceuticals. Pharmaceuticals have also taken the #3 slot for abuse of drugs among teens, right behind cigs and booze. But you bet we must make up more unfounded BS about pot to keep political prisoners incarcerated in corporate prisons, and demonize the least dangerous of the bunch. Oh and "NO" I don't smoke pot.
I can't believe you fell for such an obvious and poorly written satire (and they say we potheads are freakin' clueless). Here's a couple of clues for you: a. The only known author for the article is "jungle_dave". b. You don't use a joystick to play World of Warcraft.
Well, getting tired and not familiar w/"Jungle Dave" - whoever he is, but assuming he was a heavy-duty pothead ... that's just a guess, not going to waste my time looking him up, b/c I really don't care, plus the fact that I've never played World of Warcraft, so unfamiliar w/that ... I guess I should thank you for setting me straight in your thoughtful, straight forward polite manner....... now I'll let you get back to your mind-altering drug..... have a good fuzzy, wuzzy day......
The media is attacking Celine Dion for talking about the showbusiness drug scene. Meanwhile Tony Bennett's a hero for calling for drug legalization. Hollywierd.. go figure.
I can see it now... Cop: I have some good news and some bad news. Family: (crying) What's the bad news Cop: Your daughter is dead. Family: (still (*)(*)(*)(*)ing crying) what's the good news. Cop: She didn't technically die of a marijuana "overdose." She was just high as a kite when she drove into the telephone pole. Family: (no longer crying) Thank God!
You were misled aren't you, her skin is not grey - it shows her usual golden tone from that night out congratulating her friend and having fun at a party with her friend that was nominated for grammys. Who are you to judge anyone, and it is also b-a-d karma to do so.
She did not waste her talent. She performed great hits for 30 years! No one even comes close. She's the only woman to get three number one hits. If you don't care, stay out of the thread.
What a strange post. Nobody is suggesting that marijuana use can't lead to fatal accidents. The statement was about marijuana overdose: nobody has ever died from a marijuana overdose. Simple fact.
Ah, of course: Americans don't use the term 'bogan'. That explains why it took you guys so long to catch on
