you're right in a sense--i am probably the least depressed person in the world, and have no clue as to why someone would not want to value their own life. But even if you dont value your life, there's no guarantee that things will turn out the way you envision. You may be shot by police and be permanently disabled or suffer permanent pain. So the shooter takes on significant risk when he chooses to do what he does.

Yes, but I believe that you do not grasp bravery. By your definitions, being "reckless" would be the same as being "brave". Yes they have overlaps, but one is not the other. FYI, we have had Medal-of-Honor winners whose actions for which they were awarded were nothing but The actions of a crazed man. Perhaps where his buddies just got blown up next to him, so he flipped out, and survived to be commended for dodging bullets and killing a half-dozen enemy. Read "Medal of Honor" if you doubt me. Many winners of this award are the first to tell you that they were "not brave". They are correct.

And we've had winners who were not crazed. Who fully appreciated the risk, but went into Hell's fire for a calculated cause.

There was nothing brave by the shooter today. The bravery was by those who risked all to take him down.

Colorado had a secret meeting with certain Democrats in the state to Push real
hard for an anti-gun measure.Thereby setting the stage for a national move to
outlaw many current gun rights.The meeting was reported and noted.
Then lo & behold Colorado did just that.The democrat controlled Colorado state
senate under cover of night did just what Biden secretly called for.They just up
and legislated new,tighter gun control laws and never bothered with announcing
publically.The democrat Governor,on board,all along,willingly signed off.
Pure Public deception,under the cover of shady Democrat controlled politics.
However Last week was the real vindication.The 2 State Senate Democrats who
were most responsible for upturning Colorado's gun rights were Recalled and now
are History.Those 2 dirty Colorado Pols,tried every dirty trick imaginable to
connive the public that the recall petitions and even the actual voting was rigged
against them.The kind of Politics Obama thrives upon.

I don't remember the last time Canada had a mass shooting on a military base.

 

And if it were a privilege and not a right, this guy being in the military had all the gun training you can imagine and would have been granted the "privilege". So gun control would not have prevented his rampage. What would have prevented it would be a court system that would have put him in jail for shooting a fire arm at a car's tires and for shooting one at a neighbor through the wall in an apartment.

Maybe we need to pass some laws about being a Judge is not a right its a privilege.

How many is plenty? Because there hasn't been a legit mass shooting in Canada yet this year.

 

According to this article the police pretty sure it was just the one guy. I have heard that it is standard procedure to assume more than one shooter. Never heard it speculated to this degree however.

Also the names of some of the victims and more info.
