I have never seen even one case where Registration saved a life or in any way facilitated closing an open case or closing a cold case. It makes no sense to claim Registration accomplishes any thing of merrit. It is a facetious, fatuous claim.
what relevance does this have to this discussion. we have the same gun banners board to board spewing the same silly nonsense that even they know is BS
and we get a couple posters who stick their proverbial fingers in their ears and yell IT WORKS GREAT IT WORKS GREAT IT WORKS GREAT and never ever prove those silly claims
Bwaaak It saves lives, Bwaaak It works great It gets tiring watching the gun banners parrot the same unsupported bovine droppings over and over
What of Science ? What has that to do with anything being discussed ? Do tell, thrill us with your acumen...
must be some sort of flashback. I don't recall saying anything like that on this board. might be projection
He's outgunned and he knows it. so rather than have his pathetic arguments get crushed by going head to head, we get irrelevant trolling nonsense. Like several posts in this thread.
See, I have a question, when I need a reason for my stance on gun control, I can draw from my vast storehouse of knowledge and experience and first-hand observations, as in medical matters, clinical experience is supperior to mere textbook knowledge. These Anti Gun folks only use Googled information compiled by biased sources and Agenda based and Anti Gun funded and driven sources of slanted statistics. Why and how do they figure they own the moral high ground ? Absent any real facts ?
more importantly: I grew up shooting competitively and Hunting, I won four varsity letters in college, was the best shooter in the Entire Eastern USA 2 years, two time All-American, national Junior (20 and under) skeet champion. I was a finalist for two olympic teams. I held a national record in another shooting sport and coached a young man who was on the olympic team as a shotgun shooter. I support gun rights because I grew up around guns, I love the shooting sports and I have spent years studying constitutional law. I don't have to conceal why I oppose idiotic laws that demand I give up my rights for specious claims that doing so will stop cold blooded murderers, narcotics gangsters and mental cases from shooting others gun banners don't have that sort of background. They aren't cops who have spent years dealing with gun toting criminals nor do they have any expertise in this area. They don't know guns, they don't understand gun use and they are often afraid of firearms and more importantly, afraid of their own incompetence with guns, They are almost invariably left wingers and their motivations involve the fact that the NRA is an effective lobbying group that usually opposes LEFT WING POLITICIANS many of them hate the culture of conservative independence that characterizes so many anti gun liberals. they cannot come out and say that so they try to hide their true politically based motivations with specious claims of "public safety". but when they are tasked with arguing for their facade, they completely fail. that is why one of the most obvious of these gun banners spews crap like IT WORKS GREAT or "ITS A HUGE SUCCESS and when that BS fails, they start engaging in childish banter and trolling because what really motivates them is a seething hatred of people who oppose their political agenda and their democrat candidates
Very true, I would like to believe that having been raised by Anti Gun parents, in an Anti Gun City, that when I was quit of foolish Anti Gun antics at the age of 10, I considered it pretty good. At that same age, I once found a live .38 caliber round in the school yard, it had probably fallen out of a Police Officers belt loop, the 62 Precinct was just across the street, and before handing it to a Uniformed Police Officer, a freind asked me if it was "loaded" and that question made me laugh a bit.....
Why does registration fail to prevent thousands of firearms from being acquired by prohibited individuals in the state of California, when they were originally sold in the state of California to begin with, and subject to the registration requirements in place? How could thousands of registered firearms be stolen and used to commit murder if registration saves lives?
