It would be easier for America to swallow that but for what was handed to Obama. The prize was cheapened when Obama got it.

Hell, General Franks blasted the hell out of Tora Bora and he never bragged he got Bin Laden.

Finally, since the reported death of Bin Laden, man those Muslims sure stopped with the global violence, didn't they?

What good did it do to kill Bin Laden? He was not the author or planner of the 911 attack to begin with. Bush captured that man. I believe he currently still is at Gitmo.

 

I doubt anything will come of this. Let's assume that North Korea completely dismantles their nuclear program. What do you think the odds would be for Kim Jong Un getting the laughable Nobel Peace Prize?

While it may well be true that Obama had not deserved the award in his first 9 months, his subsequent actions did give sufficient reason to warrant the award later on.

As for pathetic Trump, it is likely that Armageddon is just around the corner.

Oh, and as for the booming economy, Trump is only maintaining the advancements made by Obama, riding his coat tails, and getting credited for work he never did.

Seriously? You need to look at charts of GDP. You need to read up on Mnuchin and his foreclosures of the homes of Americans. You need to read up on the bank failures - and those "too big to fail".

That war cost us in the trillions. We lost thousands of our best in year upon year of war.

And, what we got for it is an Iraqi civil war crushed by years of slaughter of civilians by an administration aligned with Iran and Russia.

This was one of the worst decisions ever made by America.

 

Except for 30 or so Democrats in Congress, all demanded regime change in Iraq.
