Exercising the right to vote is not a stupid game.

Please read the Atlantic article I provided a link to (I realize it's long) and give your feedback.

No, it is not, but changing how that right is exercised with a method that could so easily be tampered with IS a stupid game.

Yet another Trump supporter making imaginary claims of Dem cheating when the evidence of GOP cheating is staring you in the face.

People have been using mail-in ballots for decades. Trump has used a mail-in ballot. He is only making up lies about mail-in ballots now as a pretense to challenge the election results.
In my home state of CO we vote by mail exclusively and have no issues.

Then why aren't you campaigning? Why could you not do better than put up Biden as your party leader? The guy is a pathetic joke hiding in his basement sounding like an even worse version of Captain Queeg. He has 0 chance to win. But if the "votes" say he did, why should we not assume this is due to fraud?

I can see a million things going wrong with mail in ballots. Organized crime could start pressuring people to vote a certain way, using strongarm tactics to force people to show how they are voting before they mail in their ballots or pay the price. Polls provide a safe, secure place to cast your vote, where nobody but you has any chance of knowing how you voted.

In limited controlled amounts, where there is little chance of having your vote tampered with or influenced.

Please God, let it be Nov. 4, the election is over, and the leftie mindset is finally at peace.
If I were a leftie I would be a hell of a lot more concerned about mail-in ballot counting rather than just telling their people to go to the polls and guarantee their vote will be counted.
    Something to ponder Lee,
Absentee ballots found in a ditch in WI

Mail in ballots require AT LEAST signature verification, if not witness affidavits.

Whereas the democrats are now trying to say signatures on mail in ballots now don’t even need to be verified.

Preparations have been made to contest mail-in ballots due to indications more Dems will use them.

"During the primaries this spring, Republican lawyers did dry runs for the November vote at county election offices around the country. An internal memo prepared by an attorney named J. Matthew Wolfe for the Pennsylvania Republican Party in June reported on one such exercise. Wolfe, along with another Republican lawyer and a member of the Trump campaign, watched closely but did not intervene as election commissioners in Philadelphia canvassed mail-in and provisional votes. Wolfe cataloged imperfections, taking note of objections that his party could have raised."

The democrat version of "exercising their right to vote" is moving the goalpost as far as it takes to ensure they win.
This country has had a date set for elections for centuries. Go to the polls that day, sign the register, cast your vote and go home and watch for the results that evening. People casting their ballots months early eliminating their ability to change their vote because of some revelation or some other reason their choice may not even remain a viable candidate is flat out stupid.

In CO all signatures on ballots are checked by a bipartisan team against the signature on record, typically from the DMV.

Let's call it what it is. "Getting rid of the ballots" means "getting rid of the votes".

Trump now knows he can't win the elections, so he just wants to do away with the Democratic Republic and establish himself as a dictator. He wants the new justice in place so he can perpetuate himself in power.

The guy is not even bothering to hide it anymore. He said it yesterday, for God's sake. First refusing to guarantee a peaceful transition of power for the first time in our history. And second by admitting that the purpose of the new SCOTUS justice will be to invalidate the elections which he already announced he will appeal. Even though they haven't happened yet!

Anybody not opposed to usurpation of power should be ashamed of themselves. They do not deserve to be called Americans. Next step: change the name of the country so they don't have to.

Well good for Colorado though I think they’ll take the same path as NC because they have a dem governor.

In NC at the same point in 2016 there were 38,000 mail in ballots requested. This year there were nearly 700,000 requested by the same point.
Moreover the election supervisor (put in by Roy Cooper democrat) then came out and said there’s no need and it’s not necessary to verify signatures on the mail in ballots.

If you can’t guarantee the validity of the votes then why should they be counted?

That may sound hyperbolic to some, but a factual case can be made for its validity.

Anyone who doubts it needs to read the Atlantic article.

Take a moment, take a pause, let it sink in. This is as far away from normal as it gets.

Trump won’t commit to peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election

The electoral authorities in charge of guaranteeing that today are the same they were 4 years ago. Nothing has changed other than Republicans admitted commitment to cheat. But authorities have always been very effective in preventing that.

If you are favoring Trump perpetuating himself in power, say so! Stop the dancing around. Speak clearly!

Wrong. Hundreds of thousands of ballots no longer require signature verification for mail in.

So how can you assure they’re valid and legitimate?

For instance my grandmother died 3 months ago, never requested a mail in ballot and yet one arrived at my door for her 3 days ago.

What stops me from illegibly signing her name and sending it in for her?

Dema refused to purge voter rolls of dead people so she’s still technically allowed to vote. Or at least her name is still on the roll. And given they’re not going to verify the signature, how would they even catch me?

The lefties will tell you that is a felony. :roflol::roflol::roflol:
I asked my wife this hypothetical question,
what if a couple obtains two mail-in ballots?
    They fill them in.
They vote at the polls on election day.
    then,
They mail them in that same day so they have a legitimate postmark (new democrat rules say that is ok in many states).
In the unlikely event they get caught, their defense becomes "we were afraid of catching the Chinese virus and at the last minute we went to the polls anyway and our mail-in ballots must have gotten mixed in with our regular outgoing mail and were sent out by mistake.

Ah, so it wasn't really Trump who said these things. It was some Chinese or Iranian agent disguised as him. Man, you "learn" more every day!
