A chromosome test actually would not produce a fairer competition. Under such a standard, many trans male athletes (people born biologically female who transitioned into being male) would be competing in women's sports, meaning athletes like professional boxer Patricio Manuel would be fighting against women in the ring. It's also worth noting that there are rare instances of individuals who have neither XX nor XY chromosomes. Turner syndrome is when a biological female (someone born with the female sex organs) are born with only one X chromosome, but they also don't have a Y chromosome either, but instead have what is sometimes referred to as an "O" chromosome. A chromosome test would effectively ban any individual of the other chromosome variables from competing in professional sports.

While I would agree that there should be regulations in place to promote a fair competition on the basis of gender/sex, a chromosome test is not a practical answer. What is and is not a fair competition should ultimately be determined by doctors and trainers who specialize in athletic competition, through each competitive league's own institutions and guidelines. It should not be left to the Supreme Court... or any government officials for that matter.

 

No one can "transition" into the opposite sex.
Human beings are not animals capable of transforming their sex into the opposite one.

It’s obvious that people need to keep speaking out. When the athletes that were directly effected by these things can’t speak out without aggressive and hateful things done to them then more people need to keep talking and keep pushing. Government should ban them from bathrooms and locker rooms of opposite sex for safety reasons but society needs to get it out of their head it’s even possible for a man to become a woman. It’s this idea in why people think it’s okay they compete in sports.

 

“For safety reasons” — can you post a single study from a legitimate source showing that a trans person who is undergoing treatment is in any way dangerous to women? Because all of the studies I have seen show it is biological heterosexual males that are and once treatment begins the danger plummets.

A man cannot become a woman — they can however take steps to cure gender dysphoria which is a medical condition with an extremely high suicide rate. That you keep focusing on the MTF portion of this equation but haven’t once mentioned FTM shows this is nothing more than your own animus against them.

There's a South Park episode where Cartman decides to pretend to be a special needs child so he can compete in a sports activity with handicapped people- because he can't compete on a level field. He actually revels in his victory, which indicates he is basically a sociopath, a person lacking any values. I can't imagine a real man accepting an award won that way, claiming to be a woman- and not feeling like a total piece of rat feces. No self-respecting man would ever humiliate and degrade himself in such fashion.

Worse- Allowing this is an insult to every woman in the world, and the degradation of the very meaning of manhood. Shame on those who are part of it and those who support it.

Perhaps- women ought to boycott any woman's competition where they allow fake people to participate. Then, it will be a fakers competition, not a woman's event.

let say there is a competition with 100 female and 1 trans person entered

the 100 women only need to forfeit to the trans person ONE time...

women athletes want to win at any cost, and by competing against a trans person is condoning the rule allowing the trans person to compete
