Country music has lost an American Country Music legend and it was too soon.

OJ Simpson has died (of Cancer) at age 76.

Every outlet is reporting on this . Who can forget that Bronco chase?? what a drama all that was. A man of extremes. Extreme fame, success in sports, the media, and then came the fall. He is being described as a chameleon. Very fitting.

3-2-1 Trump's files defamation suit against LA Times. lol

"Trump's name 'incorrectly' used in LA Times' OJ Simpson obituary: 'Freud Lives'

The LA Times corrected what an editor's note called a 'typographical error'
    By Lindsay Kornick Fox News

"However, at one point further down the obituary, the article originally referred to "Trump" being released from prison instead of Simpson."

Robert MacNeil dies at 93. The broadcast journalist helped start what is now ‘PBS NewsHour.’
MacNeil and co-anchor Jim Lehrer formed one of television journalism’s most successful and enduring partnerships in 1975, when they launched what became “The PBS NewsHour.” For two decades, MacNeil served as an urbane, evenhanded co-anchor, maintaining a reputation for sober, straightforward reporting and analysis.

He leaves a positive and lasting legacy as PBS is an outstanding outlet with quality news and programming.

Unfortunately PBS news has gone downhill since me too IMO. Nothing left of the Old Guard or its coattails. Now it is just bias bias bias with no pretense of objectiveness.

I remember O.J. Simpson when he played for USC and was in two Rose Bowls. He scored three touchdowns in the Rose Bowl.

Former 49er Jimmy Johnson was an American professional football player for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL) from 1961 to 1976. In 1980, he was named as a first-string cornerback on the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team, and in 1994, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Johnson was born in Dallas and raised in Kingsburg, California. He was the younger brother of Rafer Johnson, winner of the decathlon gold medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics. Johnson played college football and ran track at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He won the NCAA 110-meter hurdles championship and was named an All-American in track and field.

Johnson was selected by San Francisco with the sixth overall pick in the 1961 NFL draft. He was selected four times as a first-team All-Pro and played in five Pro Bowls. His jersey (No. 37) was retired by the 49ers in 1977.

There was a confusion that the former Dallas Cowboy coach the other Jimmy Johnson passed away as well but that was not the case.
