    He was effortlessly charming and classy........... not just 'onstage" but in person........ when I got his autograph. (....I treasure that memory even more today.;-)

    It says milestones not gravestones! Almost all of these milestones are sad, bad news, mostly death after death after death. . Where are the weddings engagements and childbirths? I will provide a celebratory one

    I read somewhere last year that he had cancer. Not like a new story. Just someone's account of having written to him back and forth and him mentioning it in one of his letters to the person. I don't even recall what it was I was reading. May have been one of those pocket stories or something about corresponding with killers in prison. I recall that and saying that he was apparently very exacting about people's spelling/grammar and wouldn't write back to them unless they were all correct.

    Bob Barker was the host of not only the Price is Right and he was a longtime host of Truth or Consequences. He was a host of a game show called the Family Game which was similar or a spinoff to the Newlywed Game He did other shows such as the Miss Universe pageant and the Pillsbury bakeoffs and much much more. R.I.P Bob Barker.
