Your use of the term "Orange Stain" clearly demonstrates an irrational, over emotional bias and predetermined position based on hate rather than reason.... which precludes any further discussion.

I find it revealing at how easily Americans are conned by the media who never show what really happened in the decades before Russia finally had to draw the line to survive by invading Ukraine as NATO/West had been gearing up to destroy Russia for many years before as they were building up Ukraine who initially had a bigger army than Russia did when the invasion began in 2022.

Russia after being promised of no more NATO expansion in the early/mid 1990's disbanded the Warsaw Pact, released many small nations to their independence while America/NATO behaved as if the Cold War never ended continues to regard Russia as the enemy began to expand NATO which was totally unnecessary while taking away the security buffer that was in place with Ukraine being in the middle now that is gone.

It was Trump and his administration who posted a number of Sanctions on Russia as well shown by the Brookings Institute:

    COMMENTARY

On the record: The U.S. administration’s actions on Russia

    LINK

    ======

Now Russia is winning despite the 100 plus billions and military hardware billions been sent to Ukraine the last 1 1/2 years to prolong the agony of a nation being used as Cannon fodder in the West disastrous PROXY war against Russia which is slowly bleeding Europe/America and NATO dry while Russia economy is expanding as they actually have a real industrial base which is why they are outproducing the entire West/NATO in armament production plus they have an estimated 500,000 men well trained fully provisioned army waiting in the background in case NATO/West get stupid by getting directly involved.

It was the West/NATO who refused invitation from the Russians before the invasion began to work out a peace plan to end the civil war then later sabotaged a treaty process to prevent a resolution because the West/NATO wants to destroy Russia now it appears it is the Russians who will win then annex East Ukraine.

what an odd thought.....they reflect the régimes they are established and funded to protect.....it would be rather odd to have an open and civic minded, democratically managed FSB operating in Russia!!??

The M1s were variants designed to be sold to other countries.

You don't need to fabricate a reason not to discuss the Orange Stain. No one is forcing you.

My contempt for the Orange Stain is based in fact and my use of that term at every opportunity is my reasonable means of expressing that contempt.

Not when you understand what they are
that they are indeed nothing galvanized my thoughts more than your statement. Our government is a pig sty file with the most gluttonous self absorbed pigs in the country.
I didn't know that much about Russia.

Being real is exactly what it is. It's basically anti-Russian jargon understood by people who passionately hate what Russia has been doing. It's true that it comes across as less persuasive to people who do not already share their views and jargon. It's more useful amongst groups of people actively fighting the Russians, as it reinforces comradery and helps to dehumanize the enemy. Yes, what Putin is doing is terrible, but individual soldiers are largely people in the wrong place at the wrong time. But remembering that, rather than disparaging them as Orcs, makes it harder to feel good about killing them - even if necessary.

Very true. They have I ferior armor as well as electronics. Ukraine and Iraq were the only countries to get those export variants. Poland got American domestic species M1s due to being a member of NATO.

WTF are you on about? Zoom is not a journalist, he's a partisan for a particular faction.
As such, his description and use of jargon is going to reflect that.

I don't know how you could've been around this site looking at any post to do with Ukraine and not have grasped that "orc" is a derogatory term for the Russians.

I don't see this as a justification for conquest.

    Ukraine IS an independent nation.

Russia doesn't have ANY justification for deciding to subsume Ukraine by military force. UN articles directly forbid increase in size by military force.

NATO expansion can not be equated to Russians expansion, as NATO is a defensive treaty that countries may join or not join or join and then subsequently leave.

Russia is currently oriented to expansion of it's land, regardless of the will of the people, with the outcome being an end to their freedom as a state, the end of their government including an end to their economic decision making.

Beyond that, Russian success in conquering Ukraine is an invitation for them to conquer other Eastern European countries. Ukraine demonstrates that there IS a real reason for NATO in eastern Europe. It absolutely IS needed as a defense against Russia's military expansionism, as one can see that it takes more than Ukraine has in order to defend its independence against a very real rogue adversary.

Nothing he said was unclear though. This is you being unfamiliar with basic terms and complaining about it rather than applying basic context clues or god forbid looking it up.

As long as they keep bleeding Russia dry and fighting not on our soil that's us getting what we've paid for.

Plus just the sheer embarrassment factor the russians have gone through. Showing them to be a paper tiger has been worth every dime spent.

More than that: When they think they've won something they even do most of the work for you. Recover a Bradley and call it "advanced technology"

You do understand the Ukrainian constitution requires them to suspend elections while at war?
