The ratio of black vs white in the graph is like 1 vs 2.
While the ratio of black vs white is more like 1 vs 4.something

Police can't just murder you for running away.
    That's unconstitutional.

Once again, you ignore the responsibility of the person to act civil when they get pulled over. If you are black and get pulled over and act like an idiot, you are going to get treated worse and probably rack up some other charges. Why do you always ignore that?

Against the law, yes, but not unconstitutional. They don't get shot for running away (except in limited stupid instances). They get shot for running away then pointing a gun at police. Or running away, then fighting with police when they catch them or trying to grab the gun from police. Or running away, in a car, directly at an officer.

    lol
The researches even proved that when it gets dark, the % of black people being pulled over decreases.
Are they suddenly not acting like an idiot, or do cops just getting a hard time racist profiling black people?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennessee_v._Garner

Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1 (1985), is a civil case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held that, under the Fourth Amendment, when a law enforcement officer is pursuing a fleeing suspect, the officer may not use deadly force to prevent escape unless "the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others."

Maybe look something up instead of posting something dumb.

The researches also proved that black people are speeding more, running red lights more, and have lights out on their vehicles more.
Or maybe the cars just have more when black people drive.

    Uh no.
    https://news.stanford.edu/2020/05/05/veil-darkness-reduces-racial-bias-traffic-stops/

“Our results indicate that police stops and search decisions suffer from persistent racial bias, and point to the value of policy interventions to mitigate these disparities,” the researchers write in the May 4th issue of Nature Human Behaviour.

It's been scientifically proven. Full stop.
But I guess you lot need to endless keep disputing science like a flat earther.
    I'm not interested in that.

Was that an answer of yes or no to my question? And blacks have more encounters with the police as they are more likely to be involved in violent crime. Just as all the above in your post applies to men, when compared to women. Not because the police are sexist and instead because men are more frequently involved in crime.
Youre spewing basic CRT BS. That ANY racial disparity that disfavors blacks, is by definition the result of systemic racism.

I'm sure that there is bias. It's human nature. But the 20% bias in your study does not negate the 50% that is found in other studies that show blacks and hispanics just break the law more often.

hate crime laws are about crimes against a group, the knock-out game against white people would be an example of a hate crime

All of which has to do with the behavior of blacks and their higher rates of crime, their more likely to have a reason to be pulled over as in expired tag, faulty equipment traffic violation, more likely to be in public possession of drugs and in more than simple possession quantities and more police presence in those neighborhoods because of the much higher crime rates.

Sounds like two bully's picking on a weaker kid, attempted murder????

Where do you get this nonsense that a hate crime cannot be charged in a crime against an individual, cite the law requiring a group.

    never said that

the crime effects a larger group is why it's called a hate crime, such as the knock-out game if it only targets white people

the DA has to prove that the crime was targeted at a race, not an individual

    Yep

“There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” Jesse Jackson

The bias against men in law enforcement is even greater. Has nothing to do with sexism or racism in the case of blacks.

Absurd to believe these kids saying the N word was intended to target an entire race. No one beyond those directly involved even heard the utterance.
When people commit crime against someone they usually throw in derogatory names when doing so. Say the N word when assaulting someone it will be assumed to be a hate crime. While saying beotch, cu#t, whore or similiar sexist term and it is never assumed to be a hate crime. I was bullied as a kid and called a "freckle face" but never assumed anyone hated people with freckles. Just the go to derogatory name. Same logic is applied to derogatory names used against LGBTs. ASSUMED to be hate. Hate crime laws are absurd.

we do not know what they told the police or said, the da would have to prove it to a jury, so usually that charge is based on what the defendant said

Correct. If they used the derogatory N word, they will be charged with a hate crime. Had the black kid also been a fatso, they might of used the fatso derogatory term instead, and no hate crime charges would be involved.

I had an idea this afternoon. We should create an additional add on law that adds 2X hate crime penalty addition for any crime resulting from gang activity.

A single event does not a trend make. There are 330,000,000 people in this country, and not all of them are good guys, including some who are abject racists. So what? Today, in 2023, the number of people who are described by that phrase is tiny compared to days gone by, and while our distant past is nothing to brag about, the progress that has been made in that area is enormous. It's not like all you need is a handful of white folk behind a closed door to get them talking like old-school civil war-era pro-slavery forces, nor has that been anywhere close to the norm since well, well before I was even born, and I'm not the youngest guy on the block, so...

gang crimes do have more time

that said, we should end the war on drugs so we stop funding gangs

anyone that wants drugs can get them, so the war is not working

    Go make your own arguments

I'm spewing data. Data that shows that the war on drugs turned the cops predominantly on black people, while white people are just as criminal on that encounter. It has nothing to do with "involved in violent crime". That black people get pulled over by cops, and it gets less so when it gets dark, has nothing to do with "involved in violent crime". That judges give black people harsher sentences on the same crimes compared to white people with a similar criminal history etc etc,... has nothing to do with "involved in violent crime".

You're just picking a fact that can not possible explain this.

THey got higher amount of violent crime, but not all crime. Whites do an equal amount of drugs, but cops predominantly arrest black people over it. That's institutionalized racism. The same thing applies to driving while black. As I already sourced in https://news.stanford.edu/2020/05/05/veil-darkness-reduces-racial-bias-traffic-stops/

Black people also get longer sentences in court, when the criminal background is the same. It is what it is. Racism in the US is institutionalized. Just the thing that "but they do more violent crime" doesn't explain this. And the list goes on and on. Trying to find a job, and use a typical ethnic black name, diminishes your changes on an interview. It just is.

So there. It falls in the wider pattern of racism that is present in the US.

The crime rates by blacks are exponentially higher than the other races. It is perfectly reasonable and expected that their stops by police and numbers in jails would reflect that higher rate and especially with repeat criminals.
