Desperate diversions aside, Trump's principle strategy is to contrive excuses to delay all trials by juries of his peers until after he might seize the power to dismiss his being convicted.

He calculates that his having multiple criminal charges hanging over him throughout the nominative process and presidential campaign is preferable to his having justice meted out.

Of course, if he had confidence in his innocence in all the crimes for which he has been and expects to be indicted, he would be pushing for expeditious adjudications, not kicking the can down the road while he lashes out hysterically at prosecutors and judges.

Hunter Biden, a private citizen who has never held nor sought political office, is not facing any indictments, despite the desperate media campaign by the President's enemies in the sordid tradition of the "Lock her up! Lock her up!"- induced hysteria for which Republican-run congressional investigations followed by four years of the Trump regime proved impotent.
