Ouch, this isn't some bitter employee, no Omarosa Newman, nor disgruntled Trump family member, but rather Trump's own personal fixer, his Roy Cohn he searched for, the advocate and defender of the Imperial Presidency, who labels Trump as a "incorrigible narcissist, who thinks of himself first, country and principle second, one who uses people "as means to his ends — as utensils" and discards them afterwards

Now who could Barr have in mind when he wrote that Trump “surrounded himself with sycophants, including many whack jobs from outside the government, who fed him a steady diet of comforting but unsupported conspiracy theories?"

And do you think that many of those who wear the paraphernalia and cheer at the rallies ever consider that they also might be included in those "utensils?"

 

I'm a little surprised he's speaking up now. He's still a tool, but maybe he's a tool who will do a sliver of good work.

Barr's **voice** is useless now. He didn't have an issue getting on his knees for Trump any other time. He laid down with a dog and got fleas and bitten. Nobody cares, Barr.

He should get in touch with Pence and Cheney if you ever want to know what integrity and keeping one's oath to their country looks like.

 

He may be useless, looking to sell books or rewrite his legacy, but as I said above, this isn't some disgruntled employee nor obscure staff member, he was right there in the ditches defending and fighting for Trump right up to the end, when one such of this comes out now with this kind of appraisal it says a lot

When they go to recording Trump's place in history such as this book will become a primary source

So, is the author selling a book about someone only caring about themselves and donating the proceeds to charity, or does the author only care about himself? There is a level of eagerness to consume anything anti-trump and many authors exploit it.

I agree with you. My point is that he didn't do anything for X (however long) to warn anybody about Trump's pervasive toxicity so Monday morning quarterbacking is a too little, too late.

Trump *will* go down in history as a traitor. There is no doubt about that. We just have to figure out how to save our country in the meantime. Clearly, his plan is to burn it to the ground because he can't accept he was fired for incompetence and dereliction of his duties and we aren't just up against him. He has quite a few apologists that rise and set on his every word. They all pose a imminent danger to us, our way of life and our Constitution. It's unfortunate that Barr didn't say or do anything to make those revelations known before it got to this point.

 

He only got one vote from me,so let's make that closer to half devotion.

Jokes aside, I am devoted to my God, family, then country. Trump is helpful to that end.
