There is no question that our standard of living is higher due to foreign trade.

So, I'm curious about how you see the "average family" being driven to decline due to foreign trade.

Yes when you know your promises will effect how millions vote. He knew when he said this he couldn't do it. But he knew it would give him millions of votes. Just as Obama lied and said our insurance would be $2,500.00 less and we could keep our same plan and doctor. How do you think most Blacks would vote if told they would get tens of thousands each in reparations?

 

NOBODY (Black, or otherwise) ever actually believed that "reparations" would happen.
And, certainly, nobody's vote was affected by such fantastical idiocy.

And, WHERE would anybody ever get the idea that "Blacks were told they wouid get tens of thousands each in reparations"?

Never trusted Barr. Never thought he was on the side of what was right or good. But I do think he is protecting himself from the "USSR" left that will seek out and destroy those who are Trump supporters. Or who is perceived as Trump supporters.

 

I came to the same conclusion shortly after Trump announced he'd be running for the presidency back in 2015. Everything was just about Trump to him, nothing else.

Trump met Barr at George H.W. Bush’s funeral. Barr was like the only person willing to talk to Trump while Michelle Obama and George W. Bush passed notes about how dumb Trump is. The current President of the United States has a known preference for whatever the last person he talked to happened to say. We know Trump is vulnerable and weak and can’t handle it when he’s not the center of attention, as he wasn’t at Bush’s funeral yesterday. Barr gave Trump a pep talk, and then let Trump cut ahead, while standing in line for the bathroom and, now, he gets to be Attorney General again.
