    Welcome Scheuerf,
there are plenty of people sharing your opinion and thoughts, however a minority still holds on to 1850 and do whatever they can, to stay behind.
Maybe they are earning their living through the coal industry, what else would make sense with this antiquated rubbish they post on here?
Anyway, there will be a greener future, with or without Hoosier and AM and AT.
As long as the majority of people understand the basics, there is hope!

In Australia, Coal Greens, Black Labour and the Coalmen enforce their ban no more than 20% of energy shall not come from Coal.

Each party is now trying to claw itself into the others starfish to hold the line, only to see all being shunted to clear the skies of Coal filth.

It's in their AR 5 report. BTW, you have not heard all of that from 'scientists' unless you count Bill Nye. You hear it from media and science communicators. The fact that this is all conjecture based on climate models that cannot predict the future as outlined by actual scientists, should give you pause. The fact that observed science is not going along with the program should also give you pause to the alarmist claims.

Weather used to be blamed on the Wrath of God, now it is blamed on Global Warming.

Stay away, stay away, stay away from NASA, their ice drills send cold chills right through Coal filth and backers!

Climate is very complicated so it's hard to know exactly what's going to happen, but your claim that scientists have not been able to predict the future regarding greenhouse gases and the climate is false. They have predicted things such as abnormal changes in the earth's average temperature and more extreme weather which have been correct. I'm also not sure why you keep bringing up the media as I haven't mentioned it once. In addition to that, all scientists I've heard speak about climate change have said that it's real, caused by human activity, and dangerous, not only science communicators. Although, I'm not sure why you have a problem with science communicators. Climate change isn't a topic that's too hard to understand. People like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, James Hansen, Brian Cox, Lawrence Krauss, and Carl Sagan are more than qualified to talk about climate change. What about scientists that are more known for their discoveries rather than being science communicators like Stephen Hawking, or George Smoot. Try to name a few scientist that reject the idea that humans are causing climate change. My guess is that nobody will have heard of any that you might come up with because the lack of scientists that reject climate change as a result of human interaction with the environment, and because these scientists will not have made enough of a contribution to science to become well known.

Climate is not that complicated, heat water or air and its movement pattern changes. The idea that humans might be burning coal, and the coal filth Carbon blanket adds to global warmth, what fools all of them.

You have quite a mix of things there, from popular talking heads in the media that do no climate science to saying scientists reject climate change. No one rejects climate change, the only constant in climate is change.

How about Freeman Dyson who is a scientist but not a media talking head?

I said name a few well known scientists that reject the idea that humans contribute to climate change. What you did was name one scientist that accepts this idea, but just not to the same extent to those that I mentioned.

You are wrong about a few well known scientists that reject the idea that humans contribute to climate change. There are more than a few that debate the 'amount' of contribution and much of the rest of the alarmism. There are more than a few that have other hypothesis for climate change. All scientists accept that idea, they just do not agree on the orthodoxy. They, of course, are called deniers.

All I meant by climate is complicated is that it's hard to say for example that a certain weather event would have or wouldn't have happend if it weren't for human impact on the environment.

Anyone that thinks the non linear chaotic wicked system called the climate is 'not that complicated' should bow their heads in ignorant shame. BTW, the global brightening due to cleaner air of the last half of the last century nicely corresponds with the warming of the last half of the last century.

Check out your fridge, better still check out the ones at Coles, how does Carbon get so hot and cause everything to freeze?

Not that Carbon would effect our climate of course, silly silly silly the very idea.

It's not a silly idea, but it is wrong in this case. Solar activity lately would suggest cooling rather than warming. Excess greenhouse gases caused the earth not to cool when it otherwise would be cooling.

There is a known delay in solar activity and temperature on earth and we are now not experiencing warming.

I think earth actually has been warming a very small amount recently regardless of the solar activity. Lower solar activity should result in lower temperatures, not higher or constant temperatures.

Carbon filth forms an atmospheric layer that reflects sunlight out, whilst keeping heat in. Our earth is a big oven.

There seems to be a delay, but other factors might be at work. What we have to also realize is that volcanic activity causes stress on the climate, and some think large volcanic 'traps' caused or contributed to the major extinction events.

You have it backwards. Reflecting sunlight out cools the earth.

Reflecting sunlight out lets the earth cool because its being denied its solar heating!

Keeping earth generated heat trapped behind a blanket of Carbon causes the earth to heat.

Sorry, but where do you think the heat it is allegedly keeping in comes from?
