Trump and the RNC are not quite sure what to do with Kamala Harris.

On the day Biden chose Harris, Trump campaign aide Brad Parscale tweeted that the pick meant that the “Bernie Bros get burned,” pointing to a story about liberal resistance to her candidacy.

Around exactly the same time RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the opposite. “Kamala Harris’ extreme positions … show that the left-wing mob is controlling Biden’s candidacy, just like they would control him as president,” McDaniel said in a statement. McDaniel is an airhead, a Trump stooge.

Later that evening, the RNC was back to making a very different case. “Liberals revolt against Biden, Harris ticket,” an RNC news release said. It pointed out that Bernie Sanders supporters and others had attacked Harris for being insufficiently progressive.

Trump and his backers’ responses to Harris’s selection have been somewhat dizzying. Trump has mostly painted her as a radical left extremist as did McDaniel, even labeling her a socialist. Others have offered mixed messages by suggesting she is a disappointment to Sanders supporters and even a tool of Wall Street.

Fox News on prime-time Tuesday night was full of dire warnings about Harris’s supposed liberal hostile takeover of the party. However, Tucker Carlson’s asserted she was, in fact, an entirely principle-free politician who would bow to big business.

In other words, Trump and his band are throwing shyt against the wall to see what will stick.

    If anything.

CNN reports, "Robert Trump, 71, the younger brother of President Donald Trump, died Saturday at a New York hospital, Donald Trump announced in a statement."

Here is the strange part. Details of Robert Trump's illness have not been released. He had been sick for several months, a person familiar with knowledge of the matter told CNN.
During a White House briefing on Friday, Trump declined to provide reporters with details of his brother's illness.

Mary Trump said in an interview with Greenpeace earlier this week that Robert Trump had been sick and hospitalized "a couple of times in the last three months."

Now why would Trump withhold his brother's illness?

CNN reports, "The internal watchdog at the United States Postal Service is reviewing controversial policy changes recently imposed under Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, and is also examining DeJoy's compliance with federal ethics rules, according to a spokeswoman for the USPS inspector general.

"Lawmakers from both parties and postal union leaders have sounded alarms over disruptive changes instituted by DeJoy this summer, including eliminating overtime and slowing some mail delivery as well as removing hundreds of high-volume mail-processing machines from facilities across the country. Democrats claim he is intentionally undermining postal service operations to sabotage mail-in voting in the November election -- a charge he denies.

"News of the watchdog review comes one day after Trump brazenly admitted that he opposes much-needed USPS funding because he doesn't want to see it used for mail-in voting this November. The pandemic has led to record-breaking levels of voting-by-mail, but Trump has tried to restrict the method because he claims it is rife with fraud and abuse, claims that CNN has fact-checked multiple times and are largely without merit.

"The White House said Friday that Trump and DeJoy met at the White House last week. Trump, when asked, said he "didn't speak to the postmaster general.

"Financial documents show that DeJoy holds a large equity stake in his former company, XPO Logistics, totaling between $30 million and $75 million. XPO is a contractor for USPS and other US government agencies."

A Republican Party and Trump campaign megadonor, DeJoy has long been a major financial supporter of the Republican Party. Before becoming postmaster general, he was a deputy national fund-raising chairman for the G.O.P. He has hosted events and fund-raisers for Republican presidential candidates and presidents since 2006. Who is Louis DeJoy? - The New York Times

As President Trump is so pathetic he is interfering with the U.S. mail.

This time Trump has gone too far. His own party will help undo the harm the unpopular President has caused, and interfering with the mail is sure to cost him the election. That is, if he hadn't lost it before all this started.

Trump still has not revealed what his brother died of. CNN reported this a few minutes ago. "Details of Robert Trump's illness have not been released. He had been sick for several months, a person familiar with knowledge of the matter told CNN."

Mary Trump said Robert had been hospitalized "a couple of times in the last three months."

Three to four months ago New York had been in the midst of the raging coronavirus pandemic, a pandemic Donald Trump refused to acknowledge three to four months ago.

    I don't believe in coincidences.

There is a reason why Donald won't reveal what Robert died of.

The words, "collusion" and "conspiracy" were not mentioned. You can't criticize me for what I said, so, you create what you wish I had said, then criticize me for what you imagined.

Are you saying you did not know that Putin tried to help Trump get elected? Are you saying you can't remember the four-month daily barrage of reports as a result of Russia's hacking DNC computers?

You must have missed out on the news that there is no proof Russia hacked the DNC. It's all #FakeNews. The idea that Russia wanted to help Trump was dreamed up by the Crooked Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC in coordination with corrupt bastards in the American intelligence who set up the fake narrative and then used that fake dossier to spy on Trump. The entire Russian collusion conspiracy theory turned out to be a hoax based on Russian disinformation paid for by Crooked Hillary and the FBI.

To the alarm of some government health officials, President Trump has expressed enthusiasm for the Food and Drug Administration to permit an extract from the oleander plant to be marketed as a dietary supplement or, alternatively, approved as a drug to cure COVID-19, despite lack of proof that it works.

Driving the news: The experimental botanical extract, oleandrin, was promoted to Trump during an Oval Office meeting in July. It's embraced by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson and MyPillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell, a big Trump backer, who recently bought a financial stake in the company that develops the product.

Trump eyes unproven COVID-19 "cure" promoted by MyPillow CEO - Axios

"Oleander plants contain several toxic elements, including cardiac glycosides, saponins, digitoxigenin, oleandrin, oleondroside, nerioside and other unknown toxins. These poisons are found in all parts of the oleander plant and are toxic whether the plant parts are dried or green. Ingestion of any part of the oleander plant can lead to serious illness and possibly death." How Toxic Is Oleander to Humans? | Home Guides | SF Gate

"I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? As you see, it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that." Guess who.

Perhaps the reason Trump's followers don't defend Trump is because Trump is incredibly stupid, and they would rather not make a fool of themselves. However, that explanation begs a question.

    Why do they support Trump?

The [Republican] Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday reaffirmed its support for the U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election with the goal of putting Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/...rms-russia-aimed-to-help-trump-in-2016-198171

That is one source. There are few hundred that say the same thing.

Why are you supporting the same man the Russian dictator is supporting?

Where did you say you were from?

That information is based on assessments made by the people who framed President Trump. They also admit that there is no evidence the Russians hacked the DNC.

CNN reports, "Miles Taylor, a former senior Trump administration official, endorsed Joe Biden's presidential campaign on Monday, becoming one of the highest-ranking former Trump administration officials to do so.

"Taylor, a longtime Republican and political appointee at DHS from 2017 to 2019, endorsed the former vice president in a video produced by the group Republican Voters Against Trump in which he also made several allegations about Trump's conduct. He also wrote an op-ed published in The Washington Post calling the President "dangerous" for America.

"What we saw week in and week out, for me, after two and a half years in that administration, was terrifying. We would go in to try to talk to him about a pressing national security issue -- cyberattack, terrorism threat -- he wasn't interested in those things. To him, they weren't priorities," Taylor says in the video."

"To him, they weren't priorities." That sure sounds like Trump.

I read this drug is used to induce abortions, if true, Republicans should be warning people of this should they not?

    https://adc.bmj.com/content/84/1/9

"The nerium and yellow oleander are both poisonous plants. Accidental poisoning can occur by ingestion (as little as one leaf of the nerium oleander may be lethal in children), by inhalation of smoke from burning oleander, or from the use of medical preparations from the leaves of oleander which have been used as treatments for malaria, leprosy, venereal diseases, and to induce abortions."

it's possible, but if Trump is hiding that would be sad, eventually it will get out, so I would say not what he died of, but we are talking about Trump, so anything is possible, no lie is too big or too small with Trump

The Republican Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released a report detailing its findings on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, including the assessment that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort’s contacts with Kremlin-linked officials posed a “grave counterintelligence threat."

The report states that Manafort worked with a Russian intelligence officer “on narratives that sought to undermine evidence that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election,” including the idea that election interference by Ukraine was of greater concern.

Trump is obviously trying to make a joke.

Fox News reports, "President Trump announced Tuesday morning he will give a posthumous pardon to Susan B. Anthony, one of history's biggest figures in the women's suffrage movement.

"The announcement came 100 years to the day after the 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

"Anthony, a strong anti-slavery pioneer who died in 1906, had been arrested in 1872 for violating laws that had permitted only men to vote in the presidential election."

Very funny, ha-ha. Geez, he is stupid. What a pathetic gesture.

Once again they are relying on analysis from the intelligence community who employ the same analysts that framed President Trump as a Russian agent. Those Senate intelligence Assessments are worthless.

This was written four days ago.

20 states are suing the Trump administration over Trump's attempts to slow down the U.S. mail before the Presidential election that heavily favors Trump's rival.

Trump’s unfounded attacks on mail balloting are discouraging his own supporters from embracing the practice, according to Republican leaders across the country, prompting growing alarm that one of the central strategies of Trump's campaign is threatening GOP prospects in November.

Postmaster General Louis Dejoy will answer to the Republican Senate on Friday. On Monday, he will appear at a House hearing. Then ...

    Trump backed down.

CNN reports, "Embattled Postmaster General Louis DeJoy reversed course Tuesday, saying that all changes being made to the Postal Service would be suspended until after the November 3 election.

"DeJoy said that some of the deferred decisions mean that retail hours at post offices will not change, mail processing equipment and blue collection boxes will remain in place and no mail processing facilities will be closed."

Because of his incredibly foolish actions, Trump is encouraging Americans to vote for Biden.

Because of his incredibly foolish actions, Trump is encouraging Americans to vote for Biden.

Vladimir Putin's protégé is at again. This time he passed on Russian propaganda to his followers.

President Donald Trump on Sunday night retweeted Russian propaganda about former Vice President Joe Biden that the US intelligence community recently announced was part of Moscow's ongoing effort to "denigrate" the Democrat ahead of November's election.

Late Sunday, Trump amplified a tweet that contained audiotapes of a 2016 conversation between Biden and then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko -- material that was labeled by the US intelligence community as being a part of Russia's disinformation campaign against Biden. US authorities labeled the effort as disinformation because they are intentionally designed to spread false or misleading information about Biden.

There is no proof of wrongdoing on the tapes of Biden and Poroshenko. But Trump and his allies, as well as Kremlin-controlled media outlets, have used the tapes to foment conspiracies about Biden's dealings with Ukraine.

Trump retweets Russian propaganda about Biden that US intel agencies say is intended to influence 2020 election - CNNPolitics

Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, responded to Trump's retweet Monday by calling out the President for amplifying Russian disinformation.

"The President of the United States should never be a willing mouthpiece for Russian propaganda,"
    Warner wrote.

The account Trump retweeted has been suspended "for violations of the Twitter Rules on platform manipulation and spam." The original post, which contained snippets of the Biden tapes, was no longer online as of Monday night.

How can any American vote for Trump? Trump's supporters are largely a silent bunch, and most will not know of this.

And they don't want to know. As evidenced by this thread, their loyalty is based on not knowing.

Try to imagine another four years of this President.

Trump surpassed 20,000 lies a long time ago. https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...eading-claims/

“I have encouraged everybody to speed up the mail, not slow the mail,” Trump told reporters outside the White House, before leaving for campaign appearances in the Midwestern states, including Wisconsin, while the Democratic National Convention was happening in Milwaukee (prior to Trump a powerful no-no).

There is no reason to believe anything this President says. There are over 20,000 reasons not to.

Which would explain the near total silence regarding Trump on the part of his dwindling number of fans.

A nearly 1,000-page report confirmed the special counsel’s findings at a moment when President Trump’s allies have sought to undermine that inquiry.

A sprawling report released Tuesday by a Republican-controlled Senate panel that spent three years investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 election laid out an extensive web of contacts between Trump campaign advisers and Kremlin officials and other Russians, including at least one intelligence officer and others tied to the country’s spy services.

The report by the Senate Intelligence Committee, totaling nearly 1,000 pages, drew to a close one of the highest-profile congressional investigations in recent memory and could be the last word from an official government inquiry about the expansive Russian campaign to sabotage the 2016 election.

It provided a bipartisan Senate imprimatur for an extraordinary set of facts: The Russian government disrupted an American election to help Mr. Trump become president, Russian intelligence services viewed members of the Trump campaign as easily manipulated, and some of Mr. Trump’s advisers [including Trump himself and his son] were eager for the help from an American adversary.

The report portrayed a Trump campaign that was stocked with businessmen with no government experience, advisers working at the fringes of the foreign policy establishment and other friends and associates Mr. Trump had accumulated over the years. Campaign figures, the report said, “presented attractive targets for foreign influence, creating notable counterintelligence vulnerabilities.”

Senate Panel Details Ties Between 2016 Trump Campaign and Russia - The New York Times

This will not be read by Trump's followers. They don't want to know.

Want to hear the height of stupidity. A President wants to be reelected, and a key battleground state is Ohio and its 18 electoral votes. The aforementioned President calls for a boycott on a major manufacturer in Ohio.

I warned you it would be stupid.

Fox Business reports, "President Trump on Wednesday urged Americans against purchasing Goodyear tires over a reported ban on wearing MAGA hats and politically affiliated slogans for employees."
    Donald J. Trump
    @realDonaldTrump

Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).
    7:33 AM · Aug 19, 2020

Trump's tweet came after a bogus Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company zero-tolerance policy was made public. A Goodyear employee at a plant in Topeka, Kan., shared a slide that he said came from the company's corporate office in Akron, Ohio.

    It didn't.

Goodyear said that the “visual in question was not created or distributed by Goodyear corporate, nor was it part of a diversity training class.” Unfortunately for the GOP, Trump is not interested in facts.

It seems apparent Trump is not a well man from a mental standpoint. Sometimes, many times, it is hard to accept this pitiful man is our President.

Mitch McConnell and other GOP leaders have to be tearing their hair out because of this incredibly stupid and damaging statement from the President.

Trump refused to acknowledge that New York had a problem by sending a fully supplied hospital ship to NY harbor, sending thousands of ventilators to NYC, and building a ground up ambulatory center at the Javits Center.

    https://nypost.com/2020/03/27/a-look-inside-the-javits-centers-new-coronavirus-hospital/

It always amazes me when Democrats forget that there is visual documentation of some of the things that Trump actually did for New York.

Meanwhile Dr. Segal reported from the New York airports that DeBlasio told the TSA and Customs Officials to not bother to screen anyone coming in from Europe... Only from China.

Your article is dated March 27. The problem began in January.

It always amazes me when Trump's fans forget key facts.

Also, there is a difference between what the Trump administration did and what Trump said. You omitted the fact that Trump is often at odds with his coronavirus task force, particularly Dr. Fauci. On March 24, Trump urged that states open for business by Easter weekend.

States did follow Trump's advice and opened for business early, and we all know the result. The pandemic surged and currently we have been averaging over a thousand deaths a day for the past three weeks.

Now you were telling me how effective Trump's leadership is regarding the pandemic.

The Times reports, "A bipartisan report released Tuesday by the Republican-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee cuts through the chaff. The simplicity of the scheme has always been staring us in the face: Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign sought and maintained close contacts with Russian government officials who were helping him get elected. The Trump campaign accepted their offers of help. The campaign secretly provided Russian officials with key polling data. The campaign coordinated the timing of the release of stolen information to hurt Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

"The Senate committee’s report isn’t telling this story for the first time, of course. (Was it only a year ago that Robert Mueller testified before Congress about his own damning, comprehensive investigation?) But it is the first to do so with the assent of Senate Republicans, who have mostly ignored the gravity of the Trump camp’s actions or actively worked to cast doubt about the demonstrable facts in the case."

Of course, this comes as no surprise to most of us. Sifting through Trump's countless lies, we knew all along that this took place.

The problem was created by the weak performance of Robert Mueller. Mueller decided to tackle his job from the standpoint of proving criminal charges in a court of law, rather than just conduct a straight up investigation. Since Trump is smart enough not to put anything to paper and never do any of the dirty work himself, Mueller was unable to prove Trump's guilt "beyond a reasonable doubt."

The result was a cacophony of Trump's lies.

Fortunately, the Republican-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee was able to set us straight.

Complete silence on this matter from Trump's supporters is anticipated.
