I'm not. She's a terrible choice, but, Biden has demonstrated that he is far too dangerous to hold the power we extend to the president.
You're right...either I posted that on this thread in error or there was some technical error. I was referencing January 6th in a discussion on another thread. So, the speech you referenced was made in Parliament by a member who was a vet and had served in Afghanistan? Fair enough. Afghanistan was formally a NATO operation and proportional to each country's population GB lost as many in combat deaths as the U.S. Paradoxically, Afghanistan may have never evolved into a "nation-building" operation without NATO support. The Taliban and Al Qaeda was initially defeated by the "Northern Alliance" (northern warlords), the CIA, U.S. Special Ops personnel and U.S. air support. By the time, U.S. and NATO forces arrived in sizable numbers, it had become virtually a "peacekeeping mission." But, to prevent a resurgence of the Taliban and Al Qaeda, we needed a residual force, which would have been much smaller without NATO forces, thus subtracting from U.S. forces available for the Iraqi invasion, in which NATO was reluctant to participate (at least "Old Europe" NATO, per Rumsfeld). So...the deployment of NATO forces to Afghanistan influenced what had been a "mission of retribution" into a mission of nation-building. At the time, that fit the new Bush strategy of creating Mid-Eastern democracies, in lieu of ridding Iraq of WMD, which were never found.
The British Parliament voted yesterday to hold the President of the United States in contempt. And you think it's a joke.
No, I asked if your questions are a joke. Can't you keep anything straight or because you can't admit you don't know what's your talking about you deflect Regardless, this conversation has run it's course.
As I said you think this is a joke Why are NATO countries stating they were not consulted and were blind sided? Why didn't Biden take the call from the British Prime minister and took almost two days to call him back and then only because his spokesperson had admitted he had not spoken with ANY NATO country leaders or ANY leaders? Biden gave up everything including billions in our military equipment he did not order destroyed and has yet to order any airstrikes to destroy that equipment. Why did British Parliament voted yesterday to hold the President of the United States in contempt. When has our closest partner or closest ally ever vote to hold our President in contempt for his acts. Newspaper headlines: MPs condemn US president, and Johnson 'humiliated' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-58264267 And you think it's a joke.
WIMP REPLICANT PRESIDENTS Oh, he lied about that, did he? You watching a Chinese news-channel? The news I am reading/seeing does not say in your comment above at all. The country has collapsed, not WILL collapse. They deserved what happened. Incompetents were running the place. Biden wants out "for good" because Americans have been dieing in that place ever since Georgy-porgy Bush started "his little war" in Afghanistan. After all, what's a Replicant-PotUS who doesn't start a war? A wimp! That's what ... !
I frankly do not care what Trump ever thought or thinks. This guy has never done military duty. He's not go the faintest sense of what it means. He just did not want the Afghan problem to explode in the runup to the presidential election. I do not understand how Americans could hae been enamoured by such a dork. He assaulted 20 women who have taken out a court case, we we-the-sheep REELECTED this jerk? 42% of American female-voters opted for this joker ... !
