In just a little over 100 years, a gnat's toenail of human historical time, the U.S. private sector energy industry (the SMART Money), and NOT the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex (the STUPID Money) has taken us from kerosene to incredibly efficient, cheap, pervasive energy that is accessible to all socioeconomic strata all over the world.

So we can let the Smart Money do what it inevitably does, innovate towards the future and prosperity, or we can fund the incompetent, involuntary, wasteful, self-dealing graft of the Stupid Money for more Solyndraesque scams and more private jets and mansions for Complex swine... at the expense of Smart Money innovation.

She is incredibly stupid. Before Capitalism, humans lived for about 35 years on average. Had none of the amenities we have today. And after Capitalism, people die in the millions and have to eat their dogs to survive.

but everything with the simple concept of hygiene,

huge % of the children died at childbirth with a high risk for woman delivering to, wich is somewhat expected if your not using clean water or sterile tools to deliver a baby while the mother is bleeding on the dirty table
then children also often died before they reached 18 ontop of that,

and you found the 2 leading reasons for low average life expectency
if you reached 30 the change of getting to 50+ was pretty good,

I support "saving the planet", but her proposals are simply ridiculous.

As usual, it's the prescription not the diagnosis people generally disagree with. Just look at France. 2/3rds think climate change is happening, yet they're throwing the **** at their government's inane methods for combating it.

Nuclear grid, household solar. Only way.

I'd also point out that passing all this totalitarian policy in the US, UK, and Australia is one thing, but passing it in India, China, Cambodia, Colombia, Nigeria, etc is a completely different kettle of fish.

Unitary (or, at a minimum, Federal) world government is the only way. And that is a completely intolerable solution to a sizable majority of the world.

Again, medical fields have been a for profit business before governments socialized them. Its better to keep your patients alive and in need of care than to lose them and not be able to treat them anymore.
