Someone made a petition, followed the proper channels here, where it's a case of, it gets 10, 000 signatures it gets a government response, it gets 100, 000 signatures and Parliament debate it.
That's not my rules, that's 'the rules' and within hours 300, 000 people signed a petition to sanction Israel for its crimes against Palestine, so on the 14th of June 2021 there's going to be a debate on this in Parliament.
This isn't in the news and if Parliament don't actually take it seriously and if the Prime Minister walks out and a bunch of no body back benches Members of Parliament end up discussing it; I will challenge and speak up - but we're not there yet, and, honestly, so far at least, the system seems to be working here, but it's what my law makers do with it or not once they deliver, and it is scheduled so it is going ahead, I just hope this withdraws UK support for this regime in Israel.

Our military aid is almost always bottom-line free US-made weapons. It is how we keep the military industrial guys in business. The rationale is that if we don't subsidize US weapons manufacturing, then we won't have weapons manufacturers for when we need them. These manufacturers have gotten good at greasing the wheels as well. By spreading the manufacturing of say a Patriot Missile over subcontractors in blue and red districts alike across the country, then those members have a vested interest in turning a blind eye to these sales.
