Let me put it another way. What makes you think women should have to even give a thought to what men do?

You know what you should be doing or giving. It's your responsibility. Get it done.

If you don't and a woman views it as a necessary act, you are putting her in the position of having to make you step up to the mark. That is your omission, not hers. If you want to lay blame, look in the mirror.

From my perspective, women have to consider men's attitudes for relationship purposes, if nothing else; simply because any potential child rearing may take up to two decades instead of two months.

It depends on what it is and how much time a man may have available. Most guys may not mind helping out and doing chores around the house, if they have more free time than the woman.

How many women are willing to use men for sex until we clamor for a relationship? If you want lay blame for men being willing to lie for sex instead of relationships, you only need to look in the mirror.

Ok, I hear ya about the white coat syndrome - many suffer w/that and I realize it's a very serious thing and also since you & family members had problems by being misdiagnosed, I understand your distrust of doctors...

The only time I can think of when I disagreed w/my dr was when I was pg w/my 2nd child. I was in labor and he told me I was in false labor....well, since this guy had never had a baby and I had, later that nite told my husband to take me to the hospital b/c the baby was coming and she did. Later I got rid of that moron and had an excellent dr w/my 3rd baby.......

I'm sorry that you've had such bad experiences w/drs. Having one you trust w/your life is so important......

Btw, the highlighted - I've never in my life heard of a dr doing that. But m/b it's different in your part of the country and they can get by w/it.....

And you cannot be a military pilot and a doctor. To say that the training takes too much time and is too extensive goes both ways. No one walks to a UPT base and gets handed their wings. You should know this.

 

Oh I understand you perfectly, the good and the underside of your psyche. And I know what women contribute and how magical that can be. It's annoying to see you all forget that and rush to say women are evil when every one of you would roll on your back for a smile from a pretty woman and that is down to you, not us.
It is very tempting btw when you need something done and some male is standing looking at you with that slack-jawed gape you get, not to just use it and get things done. It's always been against my principles, but the older I get, the more I think if you want to be idiots it's up to you. I still have to get things done and men would use it if the circumstances were reversed.

 

Military pilot training is extensive and time consuming. Just not compared to a doctor.

All it entails is him taking my file from the receptionist instead of the one I made the appointment with. Doesn't seem to be a problem. He was a friend of my Dad's and my Dad was a very...special kind of man who impacted on a lot of lives. The Doc was there through his illness and many people visited who held my Dad in respect. He looks after all the family, my Gran was his first patient when he started to practice medicine as a GP. Then my mother worked in the pharmacy in his surgery for years and he knew her really well. My sister having been in the medical profession will talk to him for hours. I make him a cup of tea and bolt out of the room as soon as I can.

This "helpless victim" paradigm (which had a grain of truth way back when but, is no longer applicable) still permeates our legal system. Somehow, the parting of legs entitles a woman to "HALF" or enormous sums of money.

With Drugs it is the Dealer (supplier of illegal product) who is cast as the worst offender. In an abrogation and hypocrisy of justice in many countries it is the (buyer of illegal product) who is often cast as the worst offender in the case of prostitution.

This hypocrisy is supported by arguments that cast the prostitute as the "unwilling victim".

Should sex result in pregnancy. The woman is once again cast as the "unwilling victim" and the man is made responsible for the consequences of the unilateral decision of the woman to carry the pregnancy to term.

In summary ... a slight variation of a proverb from the Bible is in order.

"a prostitute will cost the price of a loaf of bread, the adulterous woman will cost you everything"

Revised for the Modern era:

"A prostitute will cost the price of a good meal, Sex with any other kind of woman can cost you all you have !!"

In the Bible that is called Pharisaism and nobody exemplifies that more than do the Republicans with their endless religious hypocrisy.

The issue here is the failure of hypocritical Republicans to apply their standards on a uniform basis to everyone, especially themselves.
