Nope it hasn't...the sites like MJ say that because it makes them look bad but...no it has not been debunked. Good try though. Have you started to improve your own little corner of the world yet? The one that has a growing gun violence issue?

And yet - places like Australia and the UK do not seem to need that level of guns - why is that?

Gun violence is growing in your lil corner of the world, despite your passage of anti gun laws. Seems you don't have a leg to stand on eh?

A few claim to have debunked him but he includes a special chapter in his book where he proves he is right, the so called debunkers are wrong.

What "growing violence issue"? We still have a fraction of your gun mortality and even less of your gun injury rate

BTW - how is it going paying for all those injured by guns? Economic burden WE do not have to pay

Sorry - you are using LOTT to defend LOTT??

He is a known liar - look up Lott and sockpuppet some time

We do have crime here. And taking my gun from me will not take action against crime.

If I dial the police, how much time does that take. Then to tell them the story.

What works best is I grab my semi automatic pistol and my problem vanishes. They run like hell since they are not faster than a speeding bullet.

Some places in the U.S. far out in wooded areas, desolate countryside, it might take the Police a very long time to respond, over an hour, what to do then ?

I can defend myself as a retired lawman, not everyone has that status.

I can answer that once and for all so you never have to ask it again.

Just because your government won't let you have them doesn't mean they aren't needed.
UK and Austrailia would have the guns in society but your governments make it extremely difficult. Remember the buy back? Who knows how many the government destroyed.

Our founders fled the UK because of tyranny.
They had the foresight to guarantee certain freedoms when they founded America.

This is about exercising freedoms that are not provided to Austrailia and the UK citizens.

Then no diseases have truly been eliminated, meaning they continue to put others at risk of infection and eventually death. All manner of deadly illnesses continue to exist, just as firearms possession by those who cannot legally have access to them continues to exist, and will continue to exist, regardless of whatever proposal you can present. It is simply not something that can be eliminated from the equation. Nor can it be reduced to any meaningful degree. Removing five million firearms from the equation would be less than one percent of the total estimated number in general circulation. The saturation level of firearms in the united states has reached the point where attempting to remove even a minute portion of them is a physical impossibility, and attempting such is nothing but a waste of resources that could be better utilized elsewhere.

Recognize the futility of the proposal, and move beyond the point of circular logic.

Show precisely where it has been held that accidents and suicide are legally classified as acts of violence.

Incorrect. Firearms used to be common in most schools in the united states up until the last decade of the twentieth century. It is not a brand new concept with no basis in history.

Then show us the number of individuals who are legally carrying firearms on school grounds in the eighteen states where the practice is legal, that have been involved in violent activity that utilized a firearm in any way.

why the growing gun violence quoted to you from many an American poster citing your own government sources....you quote MJ and other VPN linked sources. That there just makes me laugh out loud. :roflol::roflol: No sorry I meant Rolling on floor laughing out loud. The rest of your crippled argument bears no weight cause I am also paying for those self inflicted economic burdens like drug use, alcoholism, pools, cars, bats, fists...etc just like you. I'm sure you get the point, eh? Well maybe you won't, I'll splain. You pay, we pay, all pay for criminal activities, abuses, misuse, negligence. You have a lot to fix in your lil corner.....shouldn't you start there instead of being hypocritical?

CCW/Gun ownership is growing, that is indisputable, crime here is falling, that is indisputable. You argument has been getting shorter and shorter legs, you are now without a leg to stand on. Good luck splaining that one away eh?

    - - - Updated - - -
I have seen no proof of him lying...try proving it without MJ and the rest of the well documented and proven liars, eh?

You are still thinking that gun violence is all illegal; some are, some aren't illegal, i.e. Accidents, but they are still classified as gun violence. Suicides and attempted suicide can be crimes and are illegal gun violence.

Yes, suicide is a crime, however, I do not recall ever seeing any dead people on trial.
How do you prosecute dead people ?

And yet that does nothing to explain precisely why accidents and suicides are classified as acts of violence, and how such a decision was ultimately reached. Precisely what was the reasoning behind the decision to classify all suicides as an act of violence?

CCL holders are not the problem, they are the solution no matter how much the anti gunners stomp and wail. As more teachers become armed....things will get safer for our children!

By your own admission, through lack of presentation of evidence to suggest that any disease has ever truly been eliminated, it would stand to reason that the fight is a losing one, and victory is an impossibility.

There comes a point where the only available option is to admit that the problem is far beyond the scope of where it can adequately be addressed through human intervention, and simply move on. Continuing to throw resources at a lost cause is an endeavor devoid of logic.

Because it is impossible to prove that there isn't some trace amount of smallpox hidden somewhere in the world, you argue that the efforts to fight it — the lives that were not lost to it — have no value?

"Every life saved is a victory."

Emotionalism and fear mongering isn't working, everyday citizens including teachers are arming themselves snd saving their own lives. States will eventually over-ride the federal government either by banding together or taking control through the legislative process. The banner mentality is losing due to unrealistic projections. Lets move on now!
