History not very much m2? The Mid East has been at its others throats well before we turned up, recent history included. At least we gave them a shot after WW2, but fighting is in their collective memory and self identity courtesy of that pokey religion. They bring their own fire, its just the direction of the wind which changes and sometimes brings in some other players when the smoke pisses us off.
