Interesting - you'd except the averages to be higher given the often-inflated numbers of sex partners that men especially brag about having had - makes me wonder how many guys are lying?

Women want to have sex with men of high social status. Wealth is a prime indicator of social status. Therefore wealthy men, who for the most part are playboys smart enough not to get married until they absolutely have to tend to act high status.

But there are plenty of other indicators of high social status that have nothing to do with wealth. Wealth just makes it easier because it is the most obviously visual indicator of high social status.

It is not the wealth that women want, it is the social status that wealth brings. It is called Hypergamy.

Please, the science of Evolutionary Psychology is light years ahead of your false belief systems. Hypergamy exists, not only does it exist it is probably the single most influential factor in human sexual relations. To claim it isn't is to be a liar proven wrong by science.

Scientific studies have shown that the physical beauty of a female is the most direct indicator of the social status and wealth of her mate. The more beautiful the woman, the richer, higher status male she will be with. It is scientific fact.

All that matter is social status, everything else is secondary considerations for women who can't achieve the highest social status men themselves.

You don't even understand your own instincts, but there are scientists who through experimentation DO.

 

Many men lie about how many sex partners they've had as a sign of showing how "macho" they are.

I'm not saying that women don't want to marry rich men. Women certainly do. The type of women who actively pursue rich men tend to avoid sleeping with them entirely or for long periods of time. You would be stupid to sleep with a rich man because it thus ensures that you will never get married.

The more you run, the better they like you. This is an indisputable fact. Ask any woman who isn't a senseless dingbat and she will tell you that the key to getting a rich guy--especially if they are good-looking, too--is to not have sex, to pretend indifference, to even suggest you will fix them up with a friend of yours that "they will just love", and to talk about other men of similar level that you think are sexy. Even ask if they will hook you up.

Men have to lie about sex because of one upmanship among men.

For instance: Women will sit around and tell each other how big or small their men are, size, shape, ect. with no ego involved. If a man said that woman x was too loose, the rest of the men would chime in and say that was because he was so small so men avoid the truth.
