The old wild west was rather tame.

Probably means Baltimore has a gang problem way worse than any city in the land of Canucks.

Well it means that the laws that are in Canada, should be considered here. save a few thousand people a year. Our Gun laws fail, Canada's gun laws must be better.
The right is wrong about the more guns we have the safer we are. Take away all the guns , guess what no one dies from guns. Take away all the guns except the ones that Gangsters have, way less deaths by accidentally killing their own children. More guns more deaths. This isn't complicated. The idea that all guns are acceptable doesn't correlate anymore to what was going on in 1789. I'll guaranty that if you decide you have to go up against this country to protect your rights , you simply will die> this may surprise you but our government will out gun you probably 500,000 to one. So taking away your ability to have every type of gun in the world would save your life. I'm just looking out for you.

    This is a joke right?
What if we take away the ones from gangsters and drop Homicides by 70%.
I knew there were people out there that just wanted the criminals to have the guns, but I never thought anyone would actually admit it.

Well, Maryland also has fairly restrictive gun laws.

    - - - Updated - - -

Maryland has restrictive gun laws. Almost as strict as Canada's.

Also, very few children under 12 are killed by guns. It's so rare that whenever it happens, it's big news.

You should know by now that criminals will always have every kind of weapon they can afford to buy or manufacture.

Gun laws only effect the lawful.

    Probably worse than Chicago.

It is a no go zone. Most of our cities now have extensive no go zones.

Unless you are really in for some serious adventure! Baltimore is the new Adventure Land!

    Especially for the police.

What gun laws that currently exist in Maryland and the city of Baltimore do you find insufficient?

Baltimore gun bans are worthless and people in Canada aren't as predisposed to crime as the mainly black criminals in Baltimore?

jBander has called for complete gun bans on other forums. He claims that gun owners are "regressive" and shouldn't be able to own guns. However, what he probably wasn't able to figure out is that baltimore and MD are one of the real cesspools in anti constitutional gun control schemes and almost all the killings in the state are perpetrated by black thugs who live under strict Democrat imposed gun control schemes.

Well it seems obvious that in the US at least, the highest gun crime rates seem to be associated with the areas with the most gun control. Just a mystery I suppose...

Last year there were only 81 murders in the state of Oregon. There were about 300 murders in Baltimore. Maybe instead of being more like Canada, Baltimore ought to be more like Oregon.

Good (*)(*)(*)(*)ing GRIEF!!!!!! I cant believ....I just cant believe someone actually thinks this much less put it in writing and then posted it in public.
If you grab guns you are actively working against the United States and what it stands for. Secondly posse comitatus anyone? It would be illegal for anyone to use the military to "outgun" American citizens defending the constitution. Unless you plan on the coast guard disarming millions of heavily armed citizens who do not wish to be disarmed its never going to happen. There is zero chance the United States military will EVER be able to disarm the public. ZEEEERO. In fact its exactly why the second amendment exists in the first place. Its there to keep anti American (*)(*)(*)(*)ing scum in their places. Americans have a right to protect their freedoms and we will exercise that right. Thirdly, 99.9% of any member of the military will NEVER follow the orders of a traitor who is actively trying to destroy the Constitution.
    Lastly..the leftist mind at work:
"Take away all the guns except the ones that Gangsters have, way less deaths by accidentally killing their own children."
hows about this.......ever think of taking the illegally owned guns from the gangsters and putting them in jail and leaving the rest of us the (*)(*)(*)(*) alone?

What do you expect in a city that seeks to make a martyr out of a drug dealer?

I think Canadian gun control should be a model for America. Millions of Canadians own guns but they have a significantly lower gun violence and homicide rate. As I understand, gun owners must have a PAL (possession-acquisition license). In order to obtain such a license, a person must pass a safety training course and a background check. Firearms must are classified as either prohibited, restricted, or non-restricted. Restricted firearms are legal to own but must be registered. Canada effectively has universal background checks (except for non-restricted firearms).

"Restricted or prohibited firearms must be verified by an approved verifier if they are being transferred to a new owner and have not been previously verified. A provincial or territorial Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) must approve all transfers of restricted and prohibited firearms. Individuals may contact the CFP for more information on this process or for help to verify a firearm. An Authorization to Transport (ATT) is required to transport restricted and prohibited firearms. Call the CFP or submit form RCMP 5490 to apply. There is no fee for an ATT."

This can't be federally mandated. It's unconstitutional to require a license the exercise a constitutional right. You could probably get away with it on a state level.

Btw, Canada doesn't have nearly as many urban killing fields as the U.S.
There are already so many guns here that the urban black markets will thrive no matter what registration laws you impose on people who legally purchase firearms.
What is the ratio of ghettos in America compared to Canada?

that's a really stupid suggestion--doing that would mean the criminals have a safe working environment. But then again, your suggestions, taken as a whole-are not about controlling criminals but harassing gun owners.

why do you despise gun ownership so much other than the obvious-that you see gun owners as not voting for the Politicians you Support
