Her community there, they were all wearing hijab and burqas... Now, what to do with the EU issue? I love how feminism has become about advocating for women to be denied options in how they clothe themselves by government. How does big brother government become more patronizing than that?

I am not arguing in favor of burqa or niqabs. I am arguing against any broad governmental ban. This is a social, cultural and religious debate the women themselves can conduct among themselves. If women feel pressured or coerced into wearing clothing they do not want to wear, it is a very serious problem, but this is not the solution.
They don't have rights of minorities or democracy. They have a stupid pride too that makes them distrust America.
I'm quite happy to learn that justification of slavery, beating your wife, murder of people who disagree with you are not savage. I'm quite happy too to learn that countries where you kill people because they leave Islam or behead people for leaving their religion are the summit of civilization. Enjoy your sha'riah.
They pray in the streets but they have "no right", poor little things. The hundred of people the muslims killed have lost any right, death is the absolute privation of right. Women can't even wear a skirt in some districts of diversity, here is the freedom, wear you niqab but if you wear a skirt you're threatened to be raped.
Feminist won't fight that, they're too afraid to appear as racist. In France some of them even fight against the punishement of street harassement because it would target colored people (yes that's exactly what they said). Societies are like roads, you can't force people to go somewhere, but a minimum of rules are necessary. For instance, if you allowed people to ride at the left side or the right side as they want because of freedom, you would have terrific results. Islamism is a fascism, they don't care of freedom. If you want that women could continue to be bare headed or wear skirts, you can't tolerate Islamism.
I think it's about 50-50 - half of them are coerced by their menfolk and sectarian pressures, and the other half wear this bizarre stuff all their adult lives to assert their beliefs, whether anyone else approves or not. But you're free to let that kind of laws come to your country, and then claim that muslim terrorists have nothing to do with Islam.
