As for your pearl clutching about what language others speak or what house of worship people attend, its a market-place at work. Persuade them that another house of worship or none is better for their lives, another language is better for their ears and tongues, and that same jeans and tank-top is more comfortable and you are good to go. They have had the invitation. We have had muslims living in this country since before the civil war. they had some major recruitment among African Americans in the 1960's and 70's, not a ton, but certainly enough to notice those heads coming off the Baptists who were not interested.
