See just about every other healthcare system in the developed world. I know we're not the absolute worst, but we pay more for what we get and we ought to be near #1, not closer to what, #37 but that was years ago.

I didn't advocate for full socialism, but rather for certain parts of the economy. It's all about aligning incentives.

We do have a uniquely bad government and an opposition party that gets into government to prove it doesn't work. But looking elsewhere, it's not government per se that's the problem, but rather Republicans.

Not true with healthcare delivery. You have an absolute and unpredictable demand that will vary partly on prevention. If you don't do prevention, other people suffer due to the overuse of emergency systems for non-emergencies or preventable emergencies. The absolute and unpredictable demand on an individual basis makes supply and demand market economics not work well for it. And besides, what rights and opportunities are there really without equal access to healthcare? A poor person could never spend enough when a rich person will pay anything to keep living.

No we do not have the worst or close to it and comparing us with other countries is almost folly because so much cost is hidden in other systems. By actual results we are at th3e top.

But I said ECONOMIC socialism, what country which is economically socialist has a better economy and better results?

Well a little bit of socialism turns into a lot of socialism and the more socialism the less freedom and liberty and choices and the more government intrusion into our lives.

We have a population that more and more is taught more and more liberal socialism and the problem is the Democrats who advocate it. Our economy and our standards of living have done better under conservative, pro-business, less intrusive policies that when persons in government believe they can best run things and dictate to us how we shall live our lives and what we can have and what we can't have. Unfortuniately there are lots of people who would trade their freedom and liberty for "government security" which is the worst security but you don't have to do much for it.

Actually yes it is for the vast majority of citizens who provide for themselves. The more government has gotten involved in our healthcare the worse it has gotten. And if you want rich persons health care then go get rich, but guess what there's not much different in health outcomes. And the emergency room thing is a canard, emergency rooms are ONLY require to accept all EMERGENCY cases. If someone comes in with a cold they can send them home with two aspirin. And we have had indigent medical care forever. Is it as good as what a person can pay for themselves, probably not. There is no right to equitable care with any other citizen. And the best way to incentivize someone is to tell them the government and other taxpayers will not support able bodied persons, and aid will be strictly limited and require work. Amazing how many people went back to work after the Gingrich/Kasich welfare reform, becoming taxpayers and increasing tax revenues and no longer being a government expense.

Unlike you, I showed your entire quote, which anyone who knows how to read, could see was miswritten, saying the opposite of what you now say was intended. I wouldn't need to "play grammar monitor," had you not tried to insist that it was my misreading, which was the problem. If you have trouble admitting your mistakes, you could have just called it a typo. Instead, you claimed :

    when in actuality, you'd written:

    Bluesguy said: ↑

Rule by dictator - I know of NO ONE, not even Trump supporters, whom I find support the proper separation of powers and checks and balances of the Constitution..

That you must blame others, for your own errors, is the "pitiful" thing (FYI). Yes, your sentence was clear enough, it just didn't mean what you had thought it did.

I will finish replying to the rest of your post, assuming there is an argument within it, for me to respond to, a little bit later.

Michael Jackson says that people who voted for Donald Trump are "a threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights."

The left is going all in on the threats to freedoms, democracy and rights. Frequently posters on this board said we lost rights five years ago, but when asked they never mentioned which ones (it’s such a great talking point for the ignorant)

The threat to democracy, freedom and rights is coming from the authoritarian government that wants to dictate medical procedures, ignore voting laws and remove the first and second amendments while turning a blind eye to the fourth.

I would like to hear from the left regarding this reasonable criticism... without referencing Trump.
You see, even though I am a lefty, I am not immune to reasonable, rational argumentation that critiques the statis quo.
Now, if it is that law enforcement, such as the FBI is acting to manipulate political outcomes to the benefit of Democrats... Is that not some kind of 'semi-fascism'?

I thought I would repost this in the hope that a fellow lefty would respond.

Biden begins to sober up after his crazed Adderall overdose powered rant?

The walkback starts: "I don't consider any Trump supporter a threat"

Trying to shake hands with the invisible guy.

'After staging a prime-time national address to paint “MAGA Americans” as a unique threat to the country, Joe Biden turned around today to … completely contradict the core argument of his demagogic rant at Independence Hall.'

Doocy pins him down: "Do you consider all Trump supporters to be a threat to the country?"

Biden who has sobered up a bit: "I don't consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country."

Biden continued: 'I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence and fails to condemn violence when it's used, refuse to acknowledge an election has been won... That is a threat to democracy."'

'So … wouldn’t that include all of “The Resistance” types who rioted in Washington DC on January 20, 2017 too? Stacey Abrams in Georgia refused to accept the results of her election, as did Hillary Clinton. Why didn’t Biden talk about that in his speech last night, if he didn’t claim that Trump’s “MAGA Americans” were a threat?'

'Hint: It’s because that’s precisely what Biden said:'

'But there is no question that the Republican Party today is ... a threat to this country.'

Now he wants to walk that back. That doesn't walk back.

Waking up from an Adderall binge he is shocked by his own behavior.

'Biden today: "I don't consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country."'

'Biden last night: "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic."'

    He's a deranged liar.

What happens if he starts contemplating a nuclear first strike while in an Adderall driven rage?

Paid WH liar, KJP, actually 'defends Biden's speech last night as apolitical.'

These guys are just too weird. 67 days and we have an opportunity to put some sane monitors into place to keep an eye on this crazed WH.

Has Kamala dropped the face of the earth? After Biden's blood red vampire speech, I thought a clip of her awful cackling would be a rather good fit.

The supreme Divider In Chief. No president has said in a speech what Biden did in that one. Accused so many people of jist being evil.

Biden does daily what Trump was accused of for 4 years and never did.

Two Years Ago, Trump Called Democratic Party 'Fascists'
And no one batted an eye. No pearl clutching, no cable news panels. Hmm.

Speaking to a crowd of several hundred supporters outside an aircraft hangar, Trump alleged that a Biden victory would “replace American freedom with left-wing fascism.”

“Fascists. They are fascists,” Trump continued, though fascism is a form of far-right nationalism. "Some of them, not all of them, but some of them. But they're getting closer and closer. We have to win this election. But the proud people of Minnesota will not let this happen.”

    Sure, sure

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 17, 2017

A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News. It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 25, 2018

July 14, 2019: Trump attacked the group of congresswomen known as “the Squad,”

....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 14, 2019

Three days later at a Trump 2020 campaign rally in Greenville, North Carolina, the crowd repeatedly chanted “Send her back! Send her back!” directed at Rep. Omar, whom Trump began to single out from the Squad, which he described that night as a group of “hate-filled extremists.”

....These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 29, 2020

    And Trump was 100%correct.

Democrats are socialist, fascist, tyrant, oligarch. Them specific label doesn’t matter, they all are the same - a small ruling elite living in great wealth, the rest of the masses living in slavery.

Wrong. Democrats and their toady RINOs brought the USA to its current status.

How’s inflation doing today day? How’s the grocery bill? Got a job? How’s the southern border? How’s Iran and their nukes these days? China and Taiwan? Russia? Germany’s energy problems?

All caused by Biden*. Foreign leaders see blood in the water and are getting nasty.

And guess what? When this all collapses the Democrat tyrants will treat you and all the other useful idiots just like they will treat the “magas”.

From a political prospective, neither party is fascist in the actual terms. But in the terms of big boogeyman and designating his political opponents, President Tin Can took his first steps. So Trump was 'right' and ahead of his time, with respect to President Tin Can. Anyone who saw the speech, knows that President Tin Can must be defeated in the 2024 general elections. And we need to make Congress even tighter to make it so they can't reverse lie such as the so-called inflation bill(in actually, a tax and spend bill.)

President Tin Can is a man not of his words, but a man of deceit. He wanted angry reactions, he got them: Let's go Brandon!

There's no neo-nazis, there's no Maga forces. There's no battle being waged in this country. There's an angry, decrepit fossil who I reference kindly now as President Tin Can who infuriates all of us on an everyday, regular basis. Note, not even the divisive Trump saw 60% disapproval.

I won’t respond to newly registered troll accounts that don’t understand the context of those quotes.

Wjat he said about Mexican gang members was 100% true. What he said about Omar, same thing.
Same with BLM rioters. Have a nice day. Accounts like yours popped up in 2016 before the election too then disappeared. You will too.

The question everyone should be asking. Why is Biden still talking about Trump? Why isn't he talking about his great achievements and raising money by promising to accomplish even more of the same?

Thanks to the beauty of Seperation of Power and the looming election, we should be able to stop Biden from screwing up American energy to the extent that Germany and Europe have screwed up theirs.
