Biden Snaps at Black Reporter over Cognitive Test Question: ‘Are You a Junkie?’

Breitbart. Take a few words out of context, don't mention Biden is a stutterer, and do some handy-dandy emphasis on a few words of the few words taken out of context. Credibility = 0.

Here's something else from the event.

"What do you say to President Trump who brags about his test and makes your mental state an issue for voters?" Barnett asked.

"Well, if he can't figure out the difference between an elephant and a lion, I don't know what the hell he's talking about," Biden responded, laughing.

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee mocked Trump for boasting in multiple interviews about taking a cognitive test, which he said he "aced."

Biden is laughing at and mocking Trump. Not bad for a senile old fart.

I was talking about the deflecting part.
As far as the junkie part as far as I know Obama i believe admitted smoking pot which i do not consider that being a junkie. I dont remember any stories of trump and drugs either not saying he did one way or another. He says he has never drank before but I personally am skeptical of anything that guy says since he lies so much.

That's not what Biden said, and it's not what Trump said.

Trump said some are good people, not some are murderers.

Biden's comment is pretty obvious to those who get the context. Asking Biden to take a cognitive test because of his age would be like asking the host to take a drug test because he's black. They are both based on prejudices based on age and race. What Biden said was perfectly legitimate and in no way indicates anything unusual about Biden's mental state.

 

No. Racist Biden really did ask a Black Reporter if he was a Junkie. Trump's in perfect health, he is even able to stare down eclipses.

Well come one now, calling the black host a possible cocaine user and junkie was something O'Biden thinks that black fella could identify with. Cuz... well.... he's black. Duh!

Wow. According to O'Biden al those black people are the same, they are just black. Quite the monolithic group, in Joe's eyes.

Notice how once again, O'Biden starts trying to make a point, gets lost and forgets what he was saying, and says "never mind." The guy's brain is leaking grey matter.

 

These are the headlines these days.

 

Do Trump supporters not understand English? Biden is correct. Virtually all African-Americans are descendants of slaves. The Latino community includes people whose families have been here longer than Europeans, and those who immigrated yesterday. They come from Mexico, several Central American countries, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. That one community is more diverse than the other is obvious to anyone without an instinctive bias against Biden.

 

Biden wasn't talking about skin color. Strange you would think that.

 

Libs don't want to hear or know about anything negative regarding Biden and would tune it out or use mental gymnastics to rationalize it.

 

Not what he said. These things haven't worked well for Trump, but I don't blame you for trying.

What if you were given a white nationalist test before work? Trump supporter = white nationalist, right? Just like old = dementia and black = drug user.

Easy to comprehend, but I realize nuance is lost when discussing race with some people.

When you get something that's actually negative, let it be known. What Biden said was correct, as I wrote. There's nothing negative about pointing out the vast diversity within the Latino community. Thinking diversity means race only is the obvious flaw in Trump supporters "arguments." Even that viewpoint fails as the Latino community is so diverse, it includes blacks. Many Latinos are descendants of Caribbean African slaves.

Trying to make this look like a dumb statement by Biden only shows a lack of thought put into that opinion.

 

So the race card was started by what party? Then morphed into no wiggle room for anyone to say anything. It's where we are at today. That's my point in all this. Does Biden statement offend me, nope. There's rules now that Dem Party has set up. So are we now changing back and everyone can say what they want to now. Where are we at today?

 

It's exactly what O'Biden did. Or do you think there was some other black journalist that O'Biden spoke to, and spoke the cocaine and junkie analogy to?

 

Who uses the race card is irrelevant. The statement itself was not about race, but culture. I don't know what people think when they see "Latino," but I live an area with a high Latino population, and they're not all from Mexico. Seems obvious to me. Regardless, what Biden said was correct. People should learn these things, so it's good that he mentioned it.

 

The point I'm making is that if Trump had said what Biden said, the dems would be desperately trying to claim Trump was being racist, if he used the cocaine and junkie analogy with a black man.

He sees diversity in Latinos, and not blacks? Why, are all black alike? Some kind of monolithic group? If Trump had said that, the press would be eating him alive for it.

The analogy was valid. There are many people (some here) who see blacks as drug users. Drug using welfare queens. Hear it all the time. It's a legitimate comparison of prejudices.
