Skip to the 8:45 mark to bypass the introductory mumbo-jumbo.

    https://www.c-span.org/video/?466450-1/attorney-general-barr-federalist-society-convention

Here he tells it like it is.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it even hint that the President serves at the pleasure of the courts or Congress.

He was duly elected and is subject to being turned away at the next election.

Nowhere in our Constitution is there an implied legitimacy granted to an amorphous "Resistance" comprised of any court, party, agency or individual.

    I only have hopes.

    I'm past having any expectations.

I think that we're beyond saving. I hope that I'm wrong.

I never knew an elected president could get under so many people's skin. Suck it up pilgrim until the next election where you can vote your choice and then try to accept the election results. You'll have a happier life.

Really? Guess you were in a coma between 2008 and 2016 ...
The Birthers. The Tea Party. Terrorist Fist Bumps. Hannity losing his mind over a black President. 4 years of Benghazi Investigations. Etc.

Unfortunately, Bill Barr is way out on the fringes and to receive that reception from the Federalist Society should be frightening for most Conservatives.

Is Conservatism on it’s last breathe?

It is a fact that the armchair experts never listened to the speech and cannot prove their retarded allegations.

No one should be afraid of Barr until grand juries start investigating everyone involved in trying to rig and then nullify the 2016 and 2020 elections.

When and if that ever happens only the felons need to worry about it.

Whenever serious grand jury investigations begin to investigate official crime in DC I will become a bit more optimistic.

It's a coup attempt. The Democrats lost the last election and they are not over it yet. This started before he even took office.

It is frightening that Barr's opinion is considered to be that of a fringe element.

Rescue? Hell, Trump has been pissing on the backs of Republicans since the day he arrived, how he convinced all of you that it was just rain is just too pathetic to watch. Sad.

For those who do not have time, here's a quick outline of the video above.
Listen to the parts the look most interesting.

00:00:00 Intro by the Federalist Society president, Eugene Meyers, name dropping, and talking about the history & experience of Attorney General William (Bill) Barr. Wa DC, Mayflower Hotel

00:03:54 William Bar speaks of people close to him, and what he will speak of in this speech at the Federalist Society. Originalism, Ronald Regan, Donald Trump, Ed Miece (sp?), US Constitution, various judges,

00:09:00 Admiration for constitution and history, republican form of government requires, a strong executive branch, strong leadership, separation of powers. Executive powers explained

00:16:58 Unitary Executive Theory. Article 2 of the constitution. Exec power models, views by framers of the constitution.

00:21:25 Our system has changed to reduce the power of the president. Restrictions placed on the executive branch. Legislative branch has increased powers. Separation of powers between the branches.

00:25:07 Constitution defines sharing power, separation of power. President's constitutional authority. Recent years, conflicts, resistance, used to sabotage presidential authority. Extremely dangerous for a democratic republic. Senate abuse of power.

00:30:42 Senate has abused power in the Trump administration. Neglecting duties leaves plenty of spare time to harass the president.

00:34:04 Congress has shielded itself. Not doing the work of the people. The need for confidentiality in the exec branch. Those who oppose this president. Bogus claims. Trump may be unconventional, but he is fulfilling his promises to the people who elected him.

00:37:36 The LEFT is engaged in undermining the rule of law. Conservatives at a distinct disadvantage. Progressives use politics as a religion. Shredding constitutional norms.

00:40:28 Conservatives seek to preserve constitutional order. Consider what will impact the future of society.

00:41:41 Causes of this erosion of separation of powers. Purpose of the courts. Disputes between the branches. Constitutional disputes. Courts have expanded their powers.

00:46:45 Precautionary Principal. Safe vs Sorry. Courts have changed. Travel Ban case as an example. Courts second guessing the president.

00:49:50 Police stops as another example. Political partisanship. Courts acting as amateur pshychiatrists. Courts intrusions on the executive powers.

00:52:12 District court injunctions increased. Lower courts now being used to debilitate the executive actions. Nationwide injunctions. DACA

00:54:52 Trumps term mostly spent following previous president's policies which is not how the system is suppoed to operate.

00:58:46 Constitution requires we curtail government's power. Judiciary is supposed to be the neutral arbitrar. Purposes of the constitution. It's insane what's happening.

01:01:14 Consequences. Armed forces incompatibilities. Massive resources wasted. Separate of powers has eroded. The genius of the constitution. Examples of history..., American leadership that has led us to success and reasons to reestablish what we once had.

    -end-

Sure it does...Congress may remove the President at any time it wishes, via the impeachment and removal process...for treason, bribery and/or high crimes and misdemeanors, which may be defined anyway Congress wants to define it, by its vote...a simple majority in the House for impeachment and 2/3rds of the Senate present in a Senate trial, presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

I listened to this today. Pretty strong case for Executive Privilege.
