    Actually the evidence is showing that the capitol incident had been n the planning phase for a couple weeks. These plans were spread through both Facebook and Twitter.

    This dies not support the partisan political narrative that Trump invited the riot.

    It wasn't "sedition", as the Senate trial will demonstrate. It was, however quite petty, as will also be demonstrated by the Senate trial.

    The Constitution's authors thought that our chief government official wouldn't need shields to his involvement in major criminal activities, but the Republican Party hadn't been founded then.

    The FBI is looking at "sedition charges" for some of those arrested in the Capitol. Trump incited those actions. Seditious Conspiracy is if two or more persons conspire to overthrow by force the Government of the United States or by force to prevent, hinder or delay the execution of any law of the United States.

    I prefer a government which strictly adheres to the principles of governing outlined in the US constitution. We have gone away from that idea.

    Trump policies achieved some outstanding results.

    The opposition to him had nothing to do with his competence or lack of competence. It was all about his personality. This is obvious because his predecessor was absolutely incompetent, but mostly acted as a traditional president.

    He may now be indicted for past crimes. Nothing excuses him from prosecution for crimes (within the statute of limitations) he may have committed as President.

    It's more than personality, which is atrocious. He's a mental midget. He has the vocabulary of a 3rd grader without a scrap of intellectual curiosity. He considered himself the world's leading expert on every topic known to man. He needed no help nor guidance from anyone. Anyone who contradicted him was fired and called a loser on Twitter. There's not an ounce of a redeemable quality in there, anywhere. His biggest accomplishment is creating a child he'd like to date.

    Not if it's the Senators themselves, and there are some indications that something like that was being planned. If the investigations this new trial launches find that Trump was planning a REAL coup, the kind with executions and everything, then the Senators are not likely to be loyal unto death to the very man who was planning to kill them

    And that's not just paranoid hyperbole. Trump was in full charge of the world's paramount coup making organization, the CIA, this whole time.

    It is quite possible we have again been saved from Trump's maliciousness by his stupidity.
