no you don't. the stuff you claim to support has been proven not to do much, if anything, in decreasing crime. everything you support only puts burdens on honest gun owners are changes the legal environment for them and you pretend that will somehow trickle down and have a collateral impact on criminals.
so we gun owners are being told to accept more restrictions and more hassles in the HOPE it will actually deter a few criminals when the real focus should be tougher sentences on those who violate criminal codes that prohibit malum per se actions like robbery and murder

 

The stuff I support has been shown to reduce homicides and suicides. The very minor inconveinence of filling out a form or waiting three days yields many lives saved. You yourself said 2000 lives but I think it could be more. Those lives may not mean anything to you but they do to others.

 

that is not true. and registration is far more than a minor inconvenience. I never said 2000 lives would be saved. I said of all the gun deaths, only 2000 of them are even relevant to your schemes and in those cases its not even more likely than not that your plots would stop them

of course you do, but the burden is upon you to prove that your desires to harass other people will objectively useful in deterring crime. You cannot not deny that harassment and hassles of gun owners is GUARANTEED. you can ONLY SPECULATE that crime will be reduced

 

I have shown clearly that gun control saves lives. Even you have admitted it. Crime is only one part of that. The very very minor inconveinence you will have will save lives. You have admitted this yourself

 

again you refuse to say which gun control saves lives and no registration is far more than a minor inconvenience. A minor inconvenience is filling out the 4473. the background check can be major inconvenience if it crashes or you are wrongly denied

 

I say my plan with details far far far more than you describe your plan in detail. Why is that?
