That's right.,She still has an outstanding charges pending for check fraud.
Plus with a patholigical liar such as Casey,we don't even know who the
actual father was.I guess Casey got time served on the 6 bad check fraud
charges but is on a One Year supervised Probation.

There was NO physical evidence linking her to the crime. Nothing linking her to the death of Caylee, or to the location where her body was found.

You cannot convict someone on a suspicion. If you did, you'd have a lot of innocent people in prison.

All of what you are claiming was NEVER PROVEN. It is ALLEGED she did those things, it is not fact. So please stop insisting it is.

Are you saying that it was never proven that she never called the authorities when her child disappeared, never went out dancing 4 nites after the child was gone, never drove around w/her dead child in the trunk of her car, never lied to the cops for months on end sending them on wild goose chases - like her working at Universal, never made up the story about 'Zanny, the Nanny',etc...... are you saying the above was NEVER PROVEN?

All of the above WAS proven! She was the only one who had possession of her child - no one else! She was the only one who drove that car - no one else! She was the only one who knew Caylee was gone for good - no one else!

And I'm not the only one who believes she killed her daughter - either by chloroforming her so she could go out and party and the child died or some other way ... but she was the ONLY ONE who had the motive and opportunity to kill her daughter......

 

she wouldn't have to steal if she was supported well, but all in all yes she was accidently responsible for her babies death but it wasn't murder she had alot of stresses and her baby died as a result possibly drug overdose when she gave her too much xanax to sleep

its the same thing as a busy parent leaving their kid in a hot car and it dies, do they get charged with murder? no its just an accident now with her fame she will do better financially with her next child

To the people here who are defending Casey Anthony, I want to point something out to you. Most of you are the same people who oppose the death penalty because you say it is flawed and puts innocent people to death. Well, this is the other side to that coin. Because we are all human, any system we create will never be perfect. But it is imperfect in both directions. And just as innocent people periodically get put to death for crimes they did not commit, guilty people also periodically get set free after committing horrible murders. This is one of those times. As was O.J. Simpson.

It would be America in the year 2062. That's where we're headed unless we can wake people up out of this "no one is responsible for anything" coma that pop culture keeps pushing.

You make a good point, I will agree. I agree that OJ was probably guilty (the biggest question in my mind is, why would he run from the police if he was innocent? Remember that police chase?) but I have doubts to whether Casey Anthony was a murderer, or just a bad parent.

You can't really compare the cases, anyway. In OJ's case, the physical evidence was there but the defense botched the case, and he walked. In the Casey Anthony case, the suspicion was there, but not the physical evidence, and she walked.

In any case, the jury made the right decision on both counts.

 

Everything in the first paragraph I do not deny, as we know this is fact. She did lie, she did go out partying. That is accepted.

What was NOT proven however, was that she killed Caylee, or even came into contact with her body after she had died. There was no proof she dumped the body, and no proof that Casey put Caylee in the boot of her car.

Searches of her computer for chloroform, yes, we know this is true - but she wasn't the only one who had access to her computer, and therefore no one can be sure it was her who ran those searches.

HB, maybe you like to convict on suspicion, but I prefer to convict on evidence, and in Casey's case, there wasn't any. That is why she is now free.

 

In OJ's case, you asked the logical question "Why would he run from the police if he was innocent?"

I can ask the same question about CA "Why would she lie to the police if she was innocent?" Why would she make up a fairy tale about a "Zanny, the Nanny" if she was innocent?

Innocent people do not lie to the cops or anyone else b/c they don't have to.... b/c they're innocent - strange concept, huh?

As I said, Mak - she was the only one who had possession of her daughter and the only one who had the motive, means and opportunity to cause her disappearance - no one else.

Many, many questions about Caylee's death that only her mother can answer and she won't...... her silence screams volumes about her guilt.....

Anyway, I'm tired of talking about a narcissistic sociopath and that's exactly what she is - She's just a female OJ....
